I guess I could have gone into work for extra hours, because someone called me. But I wasn't awake, so...too bad. Instead I watched sappy romance films (aka An Affair to Remember and Sleepless in Seattle) with my family. I always feel bad for the poor saps who get left because their lovers fall in love with someone else. But they're usually all smiley about it. I bet they go and cry their little broken hearts out off screen. I also wonder if anything good ever happens to them later in life, or if their entire role is a complication in someone else's story - to love but to never be loved back.
