The Orphans

This orphan event is kind of fun, but kind of gross. The scarf made out of hair? Eeeww. I would rather have just not been given anything. Also I never realized how expensive children are. I mean I only have to buy them a few things, but they're still expensive. I've spent more money on them than I've spent on my Gaian self in a long time. Ok. Maybe that's a lie. Anyways, I'm actually siting here trying to figure out what unnecessary items I can sell for more gold just so I can "help" the orphans. I really ought to go out and find some real orphans to help out or give gifts to. Lord knows I have enough children's stuff that I no longer need. I'm sure some orphanage would love to have some of the toys. This made me think that it might be fun/gratifying to work at an orphanage; then I realized that we really don't have "orphanages" anymore, or at least not in the U.S. Instead we have foster care, which isn't the same thing. I guess this event is sort of like foster care for the span of three gifts.

Well, that's all I really have to say.
