now I want to see the Golden Compass... Although I am also afraid to because I know it won't be as good as the book, and my favorite characters won't be as awesome, and it will dilute some of the themes because the religious right can't deal with it. But I'm excited anyway, because it looks shiiiiiiiiiiiiiny...
