i make people worship a flag
kill all joy with my national policy
make kids yawn and say words wrong
but it doesnt matter because my daddy makes me look good

i tricked a country into going to war
i pull funding from schools
to pay for my vacations and ranch
i make you think im a good guy
but really all i think about
is how i can skrew the working class
and poor into a deeper hole

if you protest against me
ill laugh and smile
but when you least expect it
my daddy's goons will get you
lets see how much you scream and yell
when i make you go bankrupt
through your dependancy on oil for your car

you're all in dither over the kidnapping
that took place in your town
but too blind to see the bigger problem
im taking all your healthcare and social security
and ill retire with good benefits i set up only for the rich
and you wont get any of it because you're just a worker

im dictator for life
re-elected through my own plots
dont really make my own desicions
make money through powerful have-nots
i can rig elections and lie through my teeth
i may be going to hell
but im still a patriot
