House of the Living Bore
End: Nothing is not equal to happiness
Gradumacation.
Yes. I gradumacated, tonight. Although all the frippery surrounding it annoyed me to know end, I did have a surprisingly good time. A valedictorian made a comment in his speech that we were all being treated like rock stars for that one night. But now rock stardom is over. x.x I have absolutely nothing now, except for a damned job. All the people I was fond of and never had the nerve to befriend are gone forever and I'm left here in my purple haze. I'm horribly afraid of what's going to happen next.

yay i saw you at gradumacation..... dont be depressed... oce you get into college you will be in that "there are some people i am fond of but dont know" enviroment.. all you have to do is get yourself known and befriend just a few people and life will be good once more... but you have to talk and you have to be able to face rejection... face to face.... but, fortune rewards the bold... remember that....

To add to Dagwood's comment, you most certainly DO NOT have to go to college. Despite the propaganda, your life doesn't depend on it. I know plenty of people who are happy, who've never gone. Besides, until you know what you wanna do, what's the point? Waste of a ton of money, if you ask me.
Also, not everyone is ******** social, Dagwood. For many people, it's not just a simple choice of "being bold", or just going out and meeting people. If fortune rewards the bold, then I know a lot of people who should be better off. Old sayings should be taken with a grain of salt, because like old people, they're ******** senile and not always all there.
Nick, you're going to be fine. This time in your life? Blah. It's a transition, and it's not easy. Hell, the people who're going off to college because mummy and daddy said so, who are just going to binge their brains out, what the hell do they have to look forward to that you don't? A hangover?? An STD? Wasting money on years of their life that in all honesty won't change or determine a thing? Seriously, just because you have the brains to realize that everything isn't cut and dried and simple doesn't mean you don't have anything. Things'll work out. Just give it some time. And take the time to laugh at all the suckers who'll be getting their asses kicked at frosh week in the fall. 4laugh

I'm glade you had a good time at the graduation. Dont think your life is over just because highschool is out. Although i'm sure every teenager will go through that faze as soon as they graduate. I'm pretty sure i will as well. Its just a faze though alright?

Your life has just started. You have so many years ahead of you that will lead you to friends, a family and even a better paying job. Even if you dont go to college (not saying that you said you werent.) you'll still start your life out.

Hell..who knows..maybe when i get out of school and i finally turn 18 we'll actually be able to meet? heart
