Can you see it? The upturned lips, the crying eyes, the downcast face. The image of sorrow. The painof being unworthy. A shadow passes over the face. But wait, what is that sound in the distance. A name followed by three little words. A river emerges from the face. who is this? The name, a girl, what happened? Reality haunting her dreams. Again a name called. She answers not. Why? She is unworthy of him. He thinks otherwise, but to this she cares little. A chase ensues. She hisdes. A promise proclaimed. He will not rest until she is with him. Time passes, she hides, and yet he still searches. More time and the chase ends. She emerges from the shadows to seek out the one that stole her heart. He has a wife and daughter. His old love is forgotten. She hears him call her name, and his little girl comes running. the chase ended, but his love will always remain. She faces him one last time. He runs to her calling her name, but abruptly stops as she falls to the ground. His old love and friend is no more. As his family buries her in a cemetary he notices something not before seen. A smile graces her ips as she is in eternal sleep. She still believes she made the right choise. Happiness has now come to her. She smiles, for the one she loved had indeed kept his promise.
