Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (+[PSP]::)
Monster Hunter Freedom 2.
Wow.
Thats all I can say.
This is probably the greatest video game ever created, and so far i have over 300+ hours of game play AND I'm still not close to finishing it entirely.
One thing I'm happy about is I'm not the little newb who tags along on every mission and dies easily anymore, I've even gotten better than Diego.

Pros?
(almost) Everything in this game is just amazing.
Graphics? Hands down the best I have ever seen on the PSP.
Gameplay / Replay value? 5 stars 110% amazing, it will keep you on your toes for hours on end.
Multiplayer? No words can describe the Co-op feature in this game, all I can say is its PERFECT.
Customization / Personalization? 250 quests, 700 Weapons, 1400 pieces of armor, and large amounts of character skins and hair... thats just mind blowing...
Fun Factor? On a scale of 1 to 10 its about a 100.

Cons?
Well one MAJOR con to me personally is the censorship.
If you play (or seen, for that matter) the Japanese version of MHF1 or MHF2 (honorably named Monster Hunter Portable 1 & 2, and I shall dub it as "MHP2" in this journal) then you may have seen the Mortal Kombat style gore when you beat the proverbial s**t out of the beast, which makes even the most hardcore Monster Hunter fans squeal like pathetic emo fangirls at an AFI concert.
Sadly, in the mix of all the translation and export to America and Europe, Capcom prostituted themselves out to Japan by removing the gore (that we love so much) ONCE AGAIN out of the European and American versions of MHF2... Which means when we dig our 7 foot Great Sword or bashing our 700 pound anvil on a stick (Hammer) down into a beasts body we get the blood gush of a preteen girl having her first period, as opposed to Japanese hemophiliac blood explosions.
Another con is the inability to play online using Infracture, causing players to go and buy a WiFi MAX adapter and downloading the very glitchy program we all know as xLink Kai, just as the same as in the days of MHF1.
Not much of a con but it would have made playing online MUCH easier.

In conclusion, get MHF2 if you enjoy the MH series or want a fun, amazing game you could take on the go.

Ryu out.
