Ok, I was just talking to this dude who was complaining how the Death Note fans have completely forgotten the true meaning of DN with all their "pairings" and "bishies". Of course, I had to respond with "Yea, I know what you mean...but L is just sooooooo cute!!!!!"
Anywayz, how can you expect any girl not to fall in love with the characters? I mean, you got L, who's adorable, Near, who is also adorable, Mello, who's the kinda of dude lesbians like, Matt, who's the kind of dude gamers and hot topic shoppers like, and then you got Light, who I assume someone in this world likes (though I can't think of anyone except L).
Personally, I love L, Near, and Matt. I can't stand Mello. He's always so gangsta and cocky. However, I did like him near the end when he (SPOILERS!!!!) kidnapped Mrs. Takanowa (I don't care if that's spelled wrong) so that Tekumi would go get the Death Note and Near would be able to see where the real Death note was. I thought that was very noble and now I'm a supporter of Mello/Near cuz I think Mello really luvs him.
Light's death was so funny. I cracked up when he started going insane! Then someone made this version where the subtitles were Light giving swimming lessons. It's funny. Go watch it. NOW.
And for all of you who don't read/watch Death Note: DO IT!! it's has got to be the best anime I've ever seen! After L dies, it kind of goes down hill (if it wasn't for Near, Matt, and the prospect of Light's death I would have stopped reading it) but until then it's frickin a.
