If you checked out my profile, you've probably noticed that I posted a new video. It's a Korean song called "Holding Back the Tears".
But one thing I'd like to note about this song:
The singer didn't write the song.
My friend wrote it when she was little and going through a rough time with her parents. She actually did write the melody and the lyrics, but the lyrics she wrote where in English and the Korean company she sent them to translated them into Korean where they were produced.
So, yeah. I'm very proud of my Asian right now. 3nodding (Inside joke, lol.)
But, I had been having a really hard time a few weeks back, and I only told her what had happened.
She wrote a song for me a few days ago describing EXACTLY the way I felt, and I hadn't told her - or anyone, for that matter, how I felt.
She's such a great songwriter. I want to sing Utada's "Hikari" with her tomorrow. heart
