"Memories"

Memories, things that remind me of the past,

Light and dark.

From the time my great grandfather died,

To the time of my first crush.

My memories remind me of the past.

From the pain of being all alone,

To the satisfaction of helping other people's problems.

Sure, most of us are made of dark or light but,

I am both.

Some memories tear me apart to tears,

While some make me laugh till I can't breath.

Memories shape us for who we are,

Good or bad.

Memories will never fade,

Nor, will they ever die.
