It begins again...
I love how the people of this country won't talk about 9-11, won't really think about 9-11, and won't have video serches popping up all over YouTube until that magical times rolles around yet again. In a very sick way it's almost like St. Paticks day. You don't hear about it until BAM, it's marked on your calender, and someone pinches you.

Don't get me wrong. I feel very sorry for the people that have lost loved ones. I feel very sorry for the people that were in the building. I feel very sorry for the people in the planes. And I hope that they are all able to rest in peace. Or that they are having a hell of a good time where ever they may now be.

The point is this: Why are you all lamenting about it now? Where has this sorrow been for the last 364 days? (of very year I might add)

And I'm not talking to those that had loved ones lost in this event. I'm talking about those of us that sat comfortably in completely different States, tucked away relativly safely behind their desks or still in bed.

While flipping through the TV at odd hours of the day I continuesly saw titles like "The 9-11 tragedy." , "The man the predicted 9-11" , "9-11 revealed", etc. Where are these titles during the weeks that follow? Or even the weeks prior to today? Tucked away in some arcive probably. I have a feeling that for the next week or so the TV will still be plastered with specials and documentaries, and news stories. Great.

But here is why the hell I'm even bothering writing all this stuff: If you're going to remember the people that suffered for this then don't do it just today. Don't wake up and think "It's 9-11, I should think about all the people that died, and the families that suffered." Because that is bullshit. If you're going to keep this close to your heart then think about them EVERY DAY.

Side note: Don't think I'm some cold haerted b***h that never lost anyone. I lost nearly half my family (the ones I actually talked with) in a span of 2 years. So don't go bitching to me that I don't know what pain is.

I agree. Even though i am not affected my 9-11 at all. I feel that Americans must make a day out of everything eventful that happens to their country. Its sad, that the people who perished in the events are remembered as a holiday.
