Alright so Thursday Hikaru, Tamaki and I headed out to host a small birthday party for a girl. She lived quite far away so we expected to stay in the hotel that the party was being hosted. We arived and Hikaru and I got little green party hats while Tamaki had a gold one. We all got blue bow ties and it started out pretty fun. The presents where passed out and the girl had just cut in to her giant cookie that she got instead of a cake. It had her name on it whith m&ms.... I thought it was odd but it whent over well. I think it was her favorite. Any ways.... things had just gotten started when a loud ear pericing siren whent off acompanied by a flashing strobe light. We blinked and coverd our ears looking around the room. There was no sine of any thing... Every one looked at Hikaru and I. Its not like we did any thing this time....So we decided that we sould get out side and see what was going on....

As we walked down the third storie stairs we figured that it was just a drill... or some one pull the fire alarm right?

Thats when we smelled the smoke...

Some one just burned dinner right? Lots of people cant cook and alarms go off but its just because there cooking is horid right?

Then we turned the corner to go down the next flight of stairs.

There was a lot more smoke then dinner should make... It was billowing down the hall.

Every one quikly evacuated the bilding and we where standing on the street corner looking up at the bilding. Fire Trucks sped in and police cars as well...

We figured that standing around wasent verry fun. So we all headed down to the park. At first we stayed a moment under some trees watching a small band play some mellow music while people in lawnchairs sat quietly listening. But we moved on to the jungel gym. We had a blast playing tag (the swinging bridge almost made me twist my ankel) and takeing turns pushing each other on the tire swing. That tier swing was awsome!

Towred twilight when the park is closed we figured we sould head back to the hotel and see what exactly happind and where we would be staying that night. We got back but there was still no word so we stayed in a nearby resteraunt with some other people who evacuated. Eventualy the police man came in and said that no one could stay in the hotel that night but only one room was damaged and the fire system worked perfactly. There was fire. There was an alarm. And there was water. But the watter had seeped down to the first floor and ruind the alarm system so they had to bring in electrisans to fix it.

We ened up staying at the girls house. On the floor. How Kind of her. Did i mention she had a little dog? That wakes you up every ten minutes by licking your face? And It had fleas? So I wake up all crameped up and flea bitten... I had welts the size of quarters on my arms and legs.

Did I mention that my pajamas where in the hotel?

So we all slept in our clothes...

Oh and the girls house was rotting so bad in the bathroom there was a hole coverd with a pice of plywood and a rug trying to hide it.

The girl was so sweet though. She made every one breakfast and Tamaki got a kick out of watching her cook. I under stood why Tamaki asked for us to Host her Birthday party... biringing alittle bit of happyness to thoughs who need it more... it just feels good to see them smile when you know they dont get to verry often.

(Oh and Hikaru got to skip work)
(and Tamaki's cell phone snaped in half but we dont quite know how it happind, at least he wont be wakeing Hikaru and i at odd hours any more.... at least till he gets a new one.... -_- )
