Chapter 3: Departure
Today was the day Kyoga was waiting for, the day he was going to the academy. He couldn't wait to find kids like him. The whole day he was reading the letter over and over again.
"Kyoga it's time I'm going to miss you two." Sarabi said sobbing
"Goodbye Mother." They said, they walked through the portal and arrived at a ship yard. Kyoga saw kids like him except with their parents, he looked down and didn't say anything,
"C'mon let's go find a seats ok?" Kisune said. He walked into an empty room, and then a kid came to the door he looked about 8 years old and had green eyes and bluish black hair. Kyoga could tell that he was hiding what he really looked like.
"Hey can I stay in here with you all of the other rooms are full and there's nowhere to sit." He asked.
"What's your name?"
"Kyo- I mean Gregar."
"Cool, my name is Maikeru." His green eyes beaming. They stayed in silence for a while until Maikeru broke the silence,
"Well what are you, I'm a Spirit Archer."
"I'm a . . . " He trailed off he didn't even know what he was and it was a good thing he was hiding his true form from him as well.
"You don’t know what you are that’s to bad, so where be your mom and Dad?" Kyoga asked,
"I don't have a family I think they died or something." He started looking depressed.
"I have no family either." Kyoga said trying to cheer him up. Someone started speaking on the intercom,
“Everyone please meet in the diner for dinner."
"Well let's go." Maikeru said looking hungry. They both walk to the diner and see millions of kids; Kyoga walked up and was knocked down by a boy.
"Hey watch where you’re going kid." He said angrily his tail swishing excitedly, Kyoga looked at him evily and walked to the line Maikeru following while staring at the kid. Maikeru found a table and called Kyoga there. They both sat down and a small boy came and sat with them, they both stared at him. The boy had bluish black hair and brown eyes he had fox ears and a fox tail.
"Hey my name's Kohamaru, what's yours?" he asked "My name is Maikeru." "My name is Zero."
"Hmm well I gotta go bye." He said running off.
"Well that was wierd." They both finished eating and went back into the room; Maikeru went to a sofa and lay down.
"You’re going to sleep?" Kyoga asked
"Yeah it's taking forever to get there and I'm tired."
"Ok well goodnight." Maikeru fell asleep and Kyoga noticed he had fox ears and a fox tail,
"hmm so that's what he was hiding." Kyoga then fell asleep as well. They woke up by the intercom saying
"We have arrived at the school." Kyoga and Maikeru hid their true forms and walked out to the Spirit Hall and sat down in long tables.
