In Japanese there's 2 ABC's if you will...
1. Hiragana
2. Katakana
You need to learn that first before learning words...
The ABC's... or at least the Hiragana.
The hardest part of Japanese is the kanji.. which has 1000's of characters and tons of different meanings.
it's complex and it takes a lot of effot. I finished my minor in Japanese, and I've been to Japan 2 times now... the 1st for 17 days for a 3 credit class/ trip and the second i studied abroad for half a year... before going to Japan i studied every day for 2 years... then I got accepted to the program b/c I had good grades and worked my a** off.
