Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Review
Here's the first post in over a year. Just say it, here's what I have to say.
There are no spoilers!!

All in all, this movie was spectacular! It does however have its downfalls, but if you look at it from the prospective of movie, and not a comparison to the book, you will find it greatly amusing. If you cannot view it from this prospective I do not suggest that you see it, or else you will only see its faults and not it’s rubies of theatrics.

It's pretty slow to start off, and it's fairly choppy. But then if you go back and read the earlier books, you'll notice that they too, are nearly as choppy as this movie. Nevertheless I would not have minded more information as to why Fred and George left Hogwarts (even though you know if you've read the book), still it would have made this movie less linear, and added more depth into the characters. All and all the money seems to have been spent on the effects (good call). This time they've added a great deal of humour, and Harry's sorrow is FAR more pronounced. I must admit that the book did not make me cry; though the movie did (twice). That is a great achievement; I believe you will agree with me when I say that it is hard to cry when you know what's coming.

I was surprised at how many children were in the audience this movie by far is the darkest (as goes for the book). But then the kids were to be expected since I’ve grown up with Harry Potter as much as the kid sitting three rows down from me has, if not more. Harry Potter is a hallmark of my generation, when I’m old and gray I know I’ll look back at all those books I waited and waited for.

Now when the series is coming to a close, one is left to wonder how will the world take it? For I personally do not believe that J.K. will continue on. She promised us seven books, and in a few more weeks we will have Seven. Like it is said in The Half Blood Prince, “Seven is a very powerful number.”

Be sure to go out and watch this movie; please do not pirate it. Thank you.
