I have a tendency to fall in love with book characters. My latest crush: Andreios, or Rei, from Hawksong and Snakecharm. Oh my gosh, when I picture him, he is so hot. He's also the perfect chivalrious man who can and will fight to protect his woman. I just love him so much. Why is there no real life Rei? If he's out there somewhere, he needs to come and find me. Or I need to find him, either way we need to find each other. Of course I don't think that in real life he is going to be a falcon/crow shapeshifter, but that's okay since I'm not a shapeshifter either. Wow, he is just so fabulous. When the main character of the 1st book had to turn him down as her pair bond, my heart broke for Rei. Then I decided that left him free for me and I could somehow insert myself into the novel and suddenly become appealing to him and become his pair bond. Then I read the second book and he became even cooler because he was actually a falcon. surprised Surprise, surprise! And then in the end he got a pair bond and I was so happy for him. I decided that I would just pretend that I was Kel, his pair bond, and call it a day. Works for me. If I can't have him in real life then I'll just pretend that I'm the character he loves and loves him.
