[and so the story continues:]
Taking in a huge healthy and hearty breath of pure air I let myself fall back into the water and float on my back. While staring up at the huge sparkling cloak covering the sky I saw a bush rustle to the right of me. Startled, I flew up into the bright starlight. Pain surged throughout my back as I floated above the lake and, all at once, I remembered my family's curse. Because of my reckless brother God had cursed us with huge angelic wings. At the time I thought they were a blessing and quite nifty; this was because I had black, red, and white feathers and had always dreamt of flying. However, I soon found out they truly were a curse. They created a terribly excruciating pain down my back and, because the wings were exceedingly huge and oddly colored, made everyone aware of our curse. This created chaos around the people who believed we were bad luck, which incorporated everyone. They thought destruction would be brought to anyone around us, thus avoiding us at all costs.
Feeling tremendously depressed and sad once again, I slowly semi-fell, glided, down to a rock a few inches away from the waterfall. Forgetting about the rustling from the brush I started to cry, my thick hair falling in front of me, waving along with the light breeze. Soon, after a few tears had fallen on my legs, I felt someone embrace me! Confused as to why anyone would want to hold someone cursed I opened my eyes and looked up to the side of me to see who my mystery comforter was.
There, with red and black wings kneeled the man of my dreams. I never thought anyone other than my family had been cursed and so I searched the universe for someone who would accept me. I had found not one other; and here, when I was not looking and just trying to enjoy myself someone had come to me! Tears started pouring from my eyes as I started to say something; but he told me no, not to speak a word and that everything would be alright now because he was there to help me. I could not believe what he was saying, and yet, somehow, I knew he was telling the truth. As I continued to weep, he turned me around and took me in his arms. While holding me tight to his chest I heard his heartbeat, and at that moment I knew everything definitely was going to be alright. After a while of embracing he started to massage my back, knowing too well the pain I had to deal with. A few minutes later, the pain was all gone. He then lifted me up from the rock and flew me into the air, floating close to the middle of the waterfall, a few hundred feet up. Leaning in close, he gave me a kiss. From that moment on we pledged to be together forever.
