Crawling in the Dark
Everyday, there's a new horror I'm facing.
Blindly inching towards what I hope is the sun.
Never to see light again, I'm embracing.
A shadow lurks near me and I start to run.
Quick glimpses behind me, I fall to the ground.
Ever lasting hurt has only just begun.
To writhe endlessly in pain, I am now bound.
Pleading to no one to take all that away.
I desperately shriek, but there isn't a sound.
I would give my soul to live another day.
Loneliness and solitude has hit its mark.
I want to leave this place, there is just no way.
So Hell's journey I am going to have to embark.
Forever to come, I'll be crawling in the dark.
