"El.. zi.. a..", it said. She couldn't help herself she looked up at and and said, "Illidan?" The creature fell to its knees and tore the side off of the cage holding her. As the darkness began to leave him the creature shrank leaving Illidan kneeling on the ground infront of her. She ran over and hugged him just in time for Arwen to catch up comming from the tree line gasping as the devastaion both to the forest and to Elzia's kidnappers.

"What happened here?" Arwen said in shock looking around as she walks towards the children.

"He saved me," Elzia says squeezing him.

"That's not possible he couldn't have done all of this. Not that quickly," Arwen says mostly talking to herself.

"But he did, Arwen," Elzia said as she held him close. she wasn't sure how she knew that the creature was Illidan, but she did. she looked at him, and brushed his hair away from his face. she smiled and placed a gentle kiss on his forhead.

"We need to get back," Arwen said. "We need to let the elders know what's happened this far out."

Elzia just looked up at Arwen, unsure as to what she should do. she knew that she needed the extra training, and that illidan could gain from the training that they would get. but she didn't think that they should go back just yet.

"what if you told us how to get to that guy," Elzia said with a quietl voice but didn't look at Arwen. "we can go to him, and start our training, and you can go back to the elders and talk to them about what happened."

"it's to dangerous," Arwen said.

"but jaron said that we were powerful for our age," she countered. "even more powerful than some council members."

At this Arwen stared at Elzia. it wasn't like her to try talking anyone into anything, even when she knew the danger invovled in it. she was also the one that was a little reluctant to go train with someone knew. why was she so pushy about this now? after someone had tried to kidnap her, and even after illidan seemed to have lost control of his power?

when elzia didn't seem to get an answer from arwen, she added, "i can have some of my elementals watch over us while we rest. you know i can do that."

arwen sighed. "why do you want to continue on without me after what just happened?" she asked looking at her with worry.

"because i don't want that to happen again," elzia said with some frustration. "i got scared, and ran without thinking. i didn't pay attention to what was going on around me, and worse i got scared of one of the people i care about most."

"do you love him elzia?" arwen asked. elzia's eyes widened, and she didn't say anything. she hadn't even decided that for herself, and already people around her could tell. she wasn't sure how to answer that. "that's answer enough for me, elzia," arwen said with a smile. "but i would need to borrow your wind elemental to get there fast enough. would you mind?"

elzia smiled when she heard that arwen was going to let them go on their own. she held her hand out, and a small ball of air formed. as it grew bigger, the form of a cheeta.

" what is it you wish of me, elzia?" the cheeta said in a deep masculin voice as it bowed his head. this elemental was really the only one that ever called her by name and not master. for this she was greatful; being called master or mistress was a bit weird for her.

"could you take arwen back to the village?" elzia said as she smiled.

"very well," he said as he turned to face arwen. arwen climbed on the cheetah's back, and almost instantly he started to sprint off towards the villiage. elzia sighed as she watched arwen leave, and it dawned on her.

"ah crap," she said as she rolled her eyes and lowered her shoulder. "i forgot to ask her where we were supposed to go."
-----angel's note: next chapter----------

as illidan laid passed out on the ground, elzia looked around trying to figure out where she was going to go now. "i guess i'll just make camp here," she said as she moved to make their beds. she left illidan where he was and she raised her hand, palm down, and the brown wolf came up out of the ground.

"what do you wish master?" it asked in a male voice as he bowed his head.

"can you watch illidan while i make camp?" she asked.

"very well," he said as he laid down and watched over them both.
