The Haunted Skate Park: The Ghost Rider
-The kids move to a new town. Back where they’re from skating is the thing to do but in this town they take it to a whole new level-
((Scene one: The local skate park))
Oswaldo: Yo James check out that sweet skate park! Aren’t you glad we moved here?
James: Well of course I am Dude! I bet I can beat that guy over there in a game of skate.
-Oswaldo looks at him with a tilted head then at the skate park that was empty-
Oswaldo: Dude what are you on? There’s no body here but us…
-James looks around-
James: Maybe your right…I am imagining things.
-They skated around a bit showing off their mad skills to the people passing by especially the girls.-
((Someone whistles at Oswaldo when he lands a tre flip))
((Scene Two: The locals))
-A skater girl comes in through the gate and looks at the boys horrified-
Brittany: Are you guys mad!? Don’t you know this skate parks haunted?
-James smiled and punched Oswaldo in the arm-
James: see told you something’s weird here!
-Oswaldo gave him a stale glare-
Oswaldo: Touch me again and watch what happens…
-Oswaldo then directs his attention to the frantic girl-
Oswaldo: Umm excuse me but this park seems just fine to me. By the way my name is Oswaldo, and my not so bright friend over here is James.
James: Hey baby how’s it going?
-The girl quirked an eyebrow at James shaking her head then looked to Oswaldo-
Brittany: Hi I’m Brittany, and if you didn’t know a local pro died here a few years back when he tried a double hardflip to smith down a ten stair then 360 flip out to a switch melon quadruple back flip! Some say he haunts the park and steals skater’s souls forcing them to share his same harsh fate for all eternity!
-Oswaldo and James Both grew wide eyed-
James: WHOA! That would have been sweet if he had survived let alone landed it.
-Oswaldo just crossed his arms with a nonchalant look on his face-
Oswaldo: I could have done that easy.
-James nodded in agreement-
Brittany: well the elder skaters say the only way to put his soul to rest is if you beat him in a game of skate. and the last trick he’ll do is the one he died trying…many have tried none have come even close
-James gasped and looked at Oswaldo seeing that determined look in his eyes-
James: Dude don’t be stupid you don’t want to end up dead……
-Oswaldo struck a pose putting his hand up high in a two fingered wave anime style-
Oswaldo: James we live here now and I am pretty darn sure you don’t want to spend the rest of your days skating a curb when there’s a sick park right across the street. So ill do it…
-Brittany and all the local skaters who were around the skate park heard him and started clapping and cheering-
James: You always were the crazy one who got things done. This will make a pretty sweet video.
((Scene Three: Skate or Die))
-Oswaldo practiced for a bit and James got his camera waiting for the ghost to show so he can get the action on film-
Oswaldo: Ok I am ready now. Show yourself ghost!!
-A dark figure appears with a jacked up glowing green board that had no wheels or trucks but it floated over the ground-
Ghost: You dare challenge me? Ha! I pity you foolish boy lets do this.
-Oswaldo put his head phones in and began listening to his Ipod so he can get pumped up-
Oswaldo: You go first punk, not like you’re gonna win anyway
-Everyone gasps and James was getting this all on film-
Ghost: Fine. Fakie tre to manual.
-The ghost does the trick perfectly-
-Oswaldo knew the trick well so he had no problem doing it. He landed and waited for the next trick-
Ghost: I can see your pretty good so how about we cut to the chase. The
Double hardflip to smith down a ten stair then 360 flip out to a switch melon quadruple back flip, its clearly impossible not even I can do it, so if you land you automatically win.
-The ghost tried it and almost landed but landed on his neck doing one too many flips. He disappears and reappears awaiting Oswaldo to try.-
-James who rewinded the video and stopped it when the ghost snapped his neck cringed-
James: Dude you sure you want to go through with this?
-The crowed suddenly roared for him-
Oswaldo: Yea piece of cake!
-Oswaldo rolled up to check out the stairs to see how high he needed to Ollie and how he would land was pushed down them by the ghost who snuck up on him-
Oswaldo: AHHHH!!!! Dude my arm!!!!!!! It kills so bad!!!
-James ran over to him-
James: Its broken man……..
Ghost: Oops did I do that?
-The crowed was silent-
-Oswaldo stood up slowly with the help of James grabbing his board with his good arm and making his way to the top of the stairs.-
Brittany: He’s gonna do it…
-The crowed roars in applause again-
-Oswaldo stood there for a while building suspense then just went for it landing the trick without a single flaw sending the crowd into an even bigger applause.-
Oswaldo: Yea I did it……….skate park is everyone’s now and not the stupid ghosts…
- Then sadly Oswaldo stopped got off his board and fell forward passing out then dying. He had broken most of the bones in his body and died from pain but he died for a reason, that reason was simply put as skate or die. He wanted the park to be free of ghosts and for everyone to use. People remember him as the ghost rider. The ghost skater and all the poor souls he stole were put to rest. A memorial was built for Oswaldo next to the skate park and James and Brittany went on to form the Ghost Riders skate team, but that’s another story for another day-
