Project assignment: Take a book's theme and relate it to your own life.
My book was Maggie: A Girl of the Streets by Stephan Crane. Maggie is a girl who is beaten by her family. She lives in the slums, her mother is constantly drunk, and her baby brother and father died. Jiimmy and Maggie are forced to live with their mother, and soon, Jiimmy introduces his sister to a seducer, who in turn, turns her into a prostitute. How am I suppose to ralate to that? I did though, Betrayal, Suicide, Beatings. Thats my life.
