Have ya read them? Witch Child be awesome and cool.
Here's a summary for Witch Child:
"The year is 1659, a time of fear and lies. For Mary Newbury, it is a time of desperation. While she watches, unable to intervene, her wise and beloved grandmother is falsely condemned, tortured, and hanged as a witch. Soon the relentless crowd may turn upon Mary. When a mysterious stranger offers her a way out -- safe passage to America -- she knows she must go. But she doesn't know that the turbulent voyage will bring her to yet another society where differences are feared and defiance is deadly."
Sorceress is a sequel to Witch Child and it is about a female descendant of the main character. She has visions and stuff and must get in touch with her Indian heritage to find out what happened to the girl from Witch Child. I forget what else happens.

I read Witchchild forever ago, back in seventh grade or something like that, but I still haven't been able to find the second book. DX
Either way, I agree that Witchchild is a kick a** book. ^^ Very easy to get lost in, and I'd suggest it for anyone that likes colonial fiction.

I need to check out those two one of these days. Have your read one of her other books titled Pirates!? It's about two females one white and one black who become pirates. It's been a few years since I read the book so the info may be a little off. It's a good book though.
