Crank Up The Volume!! Well... This is basically what the title says ^^;; Discuss any music, songs, artists, etc.
~ What's the newest and hottest songs now? ~ Who's the best artist? ~ Any singers that SHOULD be more popular but isn't? ~ And... well, much more!
Random discussion ideas thrown there. Just make this about... well, music!

xD Considering that I'm a musical addict, my tastes are usually consider weird whenever I'm around my friends.
"You listen to bagpipes?" o_O
"o_o Cha, they're awesome."

Classicals Operas Musicals Techno/trance/acid/drum & bass/club/etc. Lounge
Foreign folk music like: Bulgarian, Irish Celtic songs and hymns, Japanese koto/shamisen/shakuhachi flutes, Chinese violins, Scottish bagpipes, Russian, German, etc.
Instrumentals Gaming music Disney soundtracks Movie soundtracks
Masterpieces from music composers: Joe Hisaishi, Yoko Kanno, Nobou Uematsu, Harry Gregson Williams
J-pop/rock, K-pop/rock, C-pop/rock
Asian drama show soundtracks like Full House, Spring Waltz, Hana Kimi Chinese drama, Hana Yori Dango, etc.
VERY, VERY little hip-hop/R&B/rap. They'd have to be clean, old school, or hilariously clean
VERY little rock/metal/alternative/etc. Very picky. x3
Jazz Nu-jazz Disco-house/just disco 90s music 80s music 1920's "stroling" music, like "Tea for Two" Some 70s music Some 60s music
Break beats/ scratching
xD Aaaa~nd...that's all I can remember for now! There's surely a whole lot more genres or specific kinds of groups/artists I fancy.

Nice, Maxi! Hehe, movie soundatracks and musicals are teh luff. <3 ^__^
Well... I techincally don't like bands themselves.. just some of their songs. xD But, My Chemical Romance, Jem, Evanescence and a few others are great. I prefer single songs like... "The River" by good charlotte, "Believe" by yellowcard, "Before it's too late" by the goo-goo dolls... and many, many j-pop and anime music, along with movie soundtracks and game soundtracks. Along with musicals, orchestra, and... GERMAN MUSIC! which I love. xD
So yeah. xD

Oh. My. Gosh! I loooove those kinds of music as well!!! Actually, I have a taste in any kind of music! ^^ But I prefer softer music. Singles. They're amazing... Hahaha... I like the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Especially their two songs Face Down and Your Guardian Angel. Boys Like Girls and Cute Is What We Aim For are actually pretty good bands. I looove those kinds of boy bands! Hehehe... but J-pop stars are much hotter x3 I'm also into the Oldies. Like those uber slow songs? Gosh... I loooooooove them! xD Ooh, also the song Elton John sang when Princess Diana died!! Candle In The Wind. I almost cry everytime I hear that song >< I looooved Diana!!! T.T
