For each and every pain weve taken thus far
For all our upset vices and wounds we share
I can feel the beating heart in you
One day soon ill give you to the blackness
And be the poison dripping from your mouth
If you can hear my screaming protest
Then why do you deserve this home
What crimes could justify the light they took away
was it bestowed in certainty youd find youre love

Through theses foot steps and the coldest nights
the dragon shines within a soul aching for its breath

Maybe the stars can point us there
