The wind seemed to dance around the tops of the mountains lazily that day, just like that day all those years ago, when the world had changed for the better... or worse. He wasn't sure yet... wasn't sure of a lot of things. All he knew was that the world had changed. Rather than being bathed in blood of numerous battles... it suddenly turned white.

Had seemed to clean itself after one large rain... one rain that had killed villagers left and right, drowned Soquili and ended the horrid wars that had reigned over a land divided for hundreds of years. The middle land of the four tribes had been wiped clean, the battles still remembered but only in the minds of those that had been born during the time in which they should be remembered as such.

It was to his credit that he was able to remember everything from his past, just as most Angeni could. However, Suizei had never wished to. Had never wanted to. In fact he wished that he could wipe it from his mind as the rain had wiped it from the land. Wished it could clear out the memories of bleached skulls and rivers of blood washing down battlefields beneath his feet.

The feet that had once been so human it was strange to think they were now hardened hooves.

"Aaaaah.. to remember when there was skin where now there's fur... it's such an amuzing thing." Suizei said to the wind, letting it curl around him and play with the pearls in his long mane. The pearls made a light noise that wasn't musical but at the same time was, if only the one listening had the right state of mind and ears to listen to their words. "Do you remember those days as well? Or were you around the other side of the world at that time?"

To speak to the wind one had to be insane, or they had to be a being of a higher imagination, of a higher plain entirely, one that came from where mortals couldn't tread their hooves or feet. The Angeni's realm, where they were known to ascend once having done something so worthy of the world that they were seen as fit.

Suizei didn't deem himself worthy of such an achievement, and yet he hadn't had a choice in the matter. He wasn't sure what he'd expected to find in going up there... but it wasn't what he had found at all.

The wind was favorable to the female today as it took her from the forest she called home toward the mountains. Her blood was attracting too much unwanted attention to her and she hoped she could find some type of peace in high altitudes of the mountains.

She thought she heard a voice on the wind as she flew along and then she decided now was a time to land and finding an outcropping, she angled her wings so she could finally descend to the ground.

Fluttering the large wings on his back, Suizei sighed out to the wind and smiled gently, his eyes closed and his body relaxed with the majority of his weight on his hind hooves. He was one to recline in comfort if he could, rather than worrying about the tedious pacings and worryings of others. It just made his bloodpressure raise to levels that he didn't enjoy. Even though he was technically 'dead' that didn't mean he couldn't feel the agonies of his own body.

A clack met his sharp ears all of a sudden, putting him on guard with the knowledge of mountain lions around the area. Thanks to his years as a warrior, the stallion was more than capable of gauging the distance between himself and the other creature that had come up behind him as well as the size. If it were a mountain lion it was far too huge to be an ordinary one. It wasn't a human either, as their moccasins didn't make such a noise.

A light gingle betrayed that it might have been a dog, but then that still was ruled out as that clack had sounded far too close to the sound of a hoof rather than that of a dogs claws. So all this wound up in Suizei turning his violet tinged gaze back on the black and red bleeding mare behind him, her regal bearing seemingly taking him off guard, possibly even moreso than the rivulets of blood that pooled and drizzled down her body in various places.

"Well hello there dear lady, it's a pleasure indeed to meet you on such a fine day." He said, his voice betraying none of his shock at her appearance, both physically and abruptly.

Morgana turned her head when she heard a voice behind her and her eyes finally fell on the first Soquili she had met in this land, after many years of solitude and isolation. She turned her body to face him when he addressed her and a somewhat unsure smile came upon her face, the metal collar with the broken chain clinking a little.

"Hello....I do hope I haven't disturbed you..." she said, partly because she knew her appearance had been known to put off others and she didn't want to disturb him if he was doing something before she landed.

Smiling calmly at her once more, Suizei shook his head in an obvious statement of 'oh no not at all.' and went back to looking out at the sky above the both of them for a moment. His violet eyes took on a nostalgic look and he sighed tiredly almost, listening to the whisperings of the wind and what they had heard over the past few years. It was a way for them to relieve themselves of the words of man and creature alike, while at the same time retaining what he'd spoken to them, so that they could take it to the ears of another angeni to know what he had been up to.

"No, you've not disturbed me miss. It's sometimes pleasant to meet others on days such as this. I do apologize for giving you any such reason for believing that you would disturb me. I hadn't meant to appear as such." His eyes shimmered with the same calm that was in his blood soaked soul. The 'prince' of the battlefield seemed as if he were an emperor in his own respect, his eyes calm and his body relaxed. Even the sheen of his fur and wings seemed to speak of massive upkeep.

However, Suizei still remembered the days when his black hair had been drenched and his eyes had seen nothing but blood. That was the downside of being Angeni, he would always remember... always. This mare wasn't helping of course, but she hadn't done anything, it was just how she was and Suizei wasn't one to hold that against others.

She stared at him silently before looking up into the clear sky, "Sometimes meeting others isn't so pleasant...." she said in a soft voice, her own voice barely hiding the years of pain she has harbored.
