Sibalto paced slowly through the woods, just taking time to enjoy the day. It was bright and sunny, with birds singing... The woods offered many dappled trails for him to explore, which he did with a will, having never been this far before. The silence surrounded him, but he kept his ears perked for the sound of another's hooves.

She was lost again, but she'd be damned if she would be found easily. This time, let him be the one to look all over creation!

If he would, anyway.

Would he?

He'd probably like that she was gone.

He might even take the chance to hide again himself.

It wasn't like he was in a hurry before....

Such a moron!

"Him or me?" she muttered.

Asehi.... she caught herself using the name the natives gave her, not her own, and she stopped sharply. She supposed the names did fit better than the ones they had been born with. Yes and no. They'd only just come to this land, and somehow the dark-skinned men already knew them both better than they knew themselves.

She sighed, bending to nibble some clover to distract her temper a bit and fill her mouth with something that tasted less bitter. Better than Tlano did, anyway. The stallion made things a lot more complicated than it needed to be....and all it got him into was trouble.

Her in trouble.

As he paced along, Sibalto became aware of the fact that there was another Soquili in the woods... Near? He tilted his head and scented the wind, ears flicking back and forth. Yes... A mare... And she was near... Maybe she would like a friend?
With a shrug the charming silver stallion picked up a cheerful trot, winding through the woods toward the scent of the stranger. He always one for making new friends, as in his homeland, he had not had many... No.. Not many at all... His mother and brother were a distant dream... Family, no friends...
But here was different... Here he had met more wondrous Soquili than he ever thought... Great glittering stallions, winged mares, horses that swam in the sea like fish or could change into the form of wolves and run through the forests! It was alll wonderful... And exciting... And sometimes a little scary... (Like those demonic horses... )
But he wouldn't change a minute of it. Deep down, Sibalto had a bit of a wanderer's spirit, and more than a little adventure in his heart... Perhaps that was why he thrived in this place...
"Hello?" He called in a musical rumble.

Asehi jerked her head up, lips parted briefly before she realized that was not his voice. She sighed and shook her mane, lips pressed thin in a frown of annoyance and resolve. She wouldn't avoid everyone, too.

Her ears canted, trying to figure out which direction the stranger's voice had come from. This place had too many trees! "I'm over here!"

Sibalto wound his way around the trees with his usual feline grace, popping his head through the wall of greenery to smile at the pretty mare he had stumbled across. Another friend perhaps?
Carefully stepping into the clearing, he bowed his head. "Greetings My Lady..."
