That sucks so badly.
Try free-writing. Just put pen to a paper and write every little thought that enters your head. Sentences don't matter, grammar doesn't matter, just the words and the thoughts. do that for like ten minutes straight and see if that works. If not, put it out of your mind for a while, think about something else. then come back to it.

I think writer's block happens sometimes when people are trying too hard to make something happen, trying to force something exciting and erudite and original spill out of their story. You end up coming to a dead end that way.
My advice, back off it a little bit, maybe write a couple of scenes that have nothing to do with anything, using the characters, seeing what they'd be like outside of the adventure you have them in. Sometimes getting to know your own characters better is the best way to overcome a road block in your writing.
If that doesn't work, read a good book. Watch a good movie. Listen to music that tells a story.

Write a scene you really want to, then go back and describe things building up to that. If you have lots of writer's block, you'll be skipping all over the place, but hey, at least you'll be making progress.

Hey, I'm new here. Um, well, I sort of have a big problem with my writing. I have all the ideas in my head, vivid images and good characters... but everytime I try to write/type it... My fingers stop and it's like I forget everything. As soon as I stop trying to write, I can't stop thinking of the ideas. >.<

Something you may find useful is doing a freewrite. Just don't even think before you put pen to paper. Just let words come out. Let them happen, and don't worry about whether or not it makes sense.
Also, a lot of times I have ideas when I can't sit down right then and there and get them out, so I end up with slips of paper and random journals filled with strange phrases and schematics and theories. When you get an idea, write it down, even if it's just a short phrase-- that way, the idea isn't lost. You can always come back to it later.

I tend to have my characters talking to me at all hours of the day and night. Very annoying, trust me. Io and I suffer from the same affliction with our notes and notebooks. Me? I get blocked and start with dialogues. Just write it out, don't try to figure out who's saying what or why, just write it down get the words out . You can always polish it up later, and then you at least have the makings of a scene. Who's saying what to whom? Why are they saying it in that manner? What lead them to this confrontation? Even if it doesn't ever make it into a story, you're thinking and writing out possibilities.
