The Ranking System
You work to be who you are.

Now this is what you have all been waiting for. What will get you to have some of those perks that others don't have. This will also decide on whether or not you will stay here or not. But don't be alarmed, once you reach a certain rank, you can stay in this guild forever if you wish and will never be knocked down a rank.

If you wish to see someone's rank, class, or title(s), you have to go to the Social Service Subforum and look for their profiles in the Profiles Directory sticky found here.

Notice: Throughout the clan, ranks are in bold. Classes and titles are in regular font.

Ranks and Rank Promotions: What do I need to know?

There are six primary ranks and two chosen ranks. You must work to gain your respect as you go up a rank. Once you can reach the highest of the primary ranks, you can have a chance to reach the "chosen" ranks, the Guardian and Trustee ranks. Also, remember, getting promoted is not required to stay in this clan, you may wish to choose to stay as a Rookie.

When you get promoted: One of the high ranks will send you a PM of you getting promoted. Be aware that only THEY can change the promotions on your profile page, so if someone sends you a hoax promotion, check your profile page to make sure.

(Ranks descending, lowest to highest.)
Primary Ranks

Commoner

The position is infinite. The commoner is considered to be the lowest of the low in ranks. Simply joining the clan would get you ranked up, although you won't be aware of ever being a Commoner. You can only get this if you've been demoted to the extreme or if you are a former Trustee (Now, given title "Trustee Trust").

In order to get promoted if you've been demoted is decided by a High Rank on how you act in the guild. You will HAVE to start all over again.

Rookie

This position is infinite. This is the considered the beginning of the next four primary ranks, where you must start and get a feel of the clan. You will want to start learning who your superiors are and also how the clan works. A better way to understand how we intend to do the things we do will give you a good idea on how you plan to rank up next time.

In order to get promoted:
You must post in the clan thread 100 times. Please number your posts! Shortcut: If we notice your constant activity, you will automatically be promoted by a high rank.

Pupil

The position is infinite. The Pupil rank is probably what we call "there but not yet there" rank because you are still learning to be a part of this clan in a way. You're also learning how to venture with the clan in the Battle Systems as part of a collective group. Here, you'll begin to learn strategy and taking command, or learning how to help the clan but at your own pace. The ability to learn first before taking action will help you succeed into the next rank.

In order to get promoted:
You must stay active in the guild and with the clan! If you post at least 100 times in the guild, then you will be promoted. Shortcut: If any high ranks notice your activity in the guild, they may rank you up without having to go through post count.

Trainee

The position is infinite. Here you are actually fighting and doing exactly what your rank explains, training. You will fight alongside comrades from the Service and gain experience. Staying active amongst the clan is also considered gaining experience. Your main objective is to just train and soon rank up.

In order to get promoted:
You must either gain experience from the clan to Level [not specified until release of Battle System] or you must stay active in the guild [500 posts]. There are no shortcuts from here on out.

Knight

This position is infinite. This is the highest primary rank you can reach. This rank means you are prepared to fight with your brethren and commit to the Service fully. You have made the Matron proud to have you in her ranks. Now, you are able to aid in making full battle plans with your class captains. You have reached the highest of the primary ranks.

In order to get promoted to a "Chosen" rank:
You must be selective chosen by one of your captains to be promoted. How they intend to make requirements for promotion is up to them. Ask your captain for more insight on becoming one of the "Chosen" ranks.

Chosen Ranks

These next two ranks are considered the "High Ranks" of the entire clan. They are not only captains of each selected class, but they also are the moderators of the entire clan. Their responsibilities exceed that of the primary ranks and they must watch over the clan on the Matron's absence. These ranks are to be respected, not boasted.

Guardian

There are only sixteen (16) positions of this rank. The people of this rank are split in groups of eight of two titles. These will be the Captains and Vice Captains of the eight Battle Systems classes for our entire clan. They will also receive the responsibility to help the clan whenever needed. They are the moderators of the clan.

In order to get promoted:
This is an absolutely rare occasion. One of the Trustee ranks have decided to take leave of their position or retire of being this rank (They will become a Commoner rank, but with a "Trustee Trust" in their titles.). That Trustee will choose the promotion will work.

Trustee

Only eight (8 ) individuals will have been bestowed this rank and each of them will be former Guardian ranking individuals. It is the highest rank before the Matron rank. The Trustee aids the Matron with duties consisting of the clan and helps the Guardians with their Battle Systems. They are considered the moderators of the clan.

There is no other position for promotions (other than the absolute high rank Matron). But, there is a retirement type promotion where the Trustee will take leave of their position and find a successor. They are still a moderator but they will not have that many responsibilities.

Matron

This is the highest of the highest in ALL ranks. Promotions for this will be on the Matron's whim and probably the hardest to obtain. Her successor is not marked by rank, but by responsibility. The successor's personal skill and attachment to this clan will mark the Matron's decision. The successor also will not be dictated by gender ("Matron" is also used for males.). If there is a chance that the Matron will take leave, see if you have what it takes to uphold the hardest and most honorable rank in the clan.

Demotions

On rare cases, a demotion will occur. If that ever happens, then the person at hand will be faced of being stripped of their rank (Titles will not be included.) and become a Commoner and work to obtain their title once again. Promotion will be chosen by a High Rank if the demoted can prove themselves. This is rare, but for those under penalty of breaking the Service Law.

Titles

About Titles
This is supposed to be one of the fun things in this clan. As you enter the clan, you are already given a title (Newblet). As you look at the list, think of what titles you may want to earn or not. This is really up to you.

Titles are like stamps (Or any other collectible item.), you can collect as many as you want, and dispose of as you please. It's at your decision on how you shall use your titles. Any questions, please ask a High Ranking official, and we shall answer as clearly as possible.

It does have a few setbacks.
Every title needs to be worked for, as said. But, you must PM a High Authority official when you have completed a title. You must also have valid proof (Those that have the "Proof" sign are very important.) of the passing requirments. Those that say High Authority official has taken participation, a High Authority official will just inform you of your title being given for your actions. PM a High Authority official, we need to know in order to update your Title count, which shall be placed.

Battle System Titles
Shall be planned once the Battle System is open...

Although many titles are posted here, there are many others around the guild that you have to look for. For instance, both Captain and Vice Captain titles are found in different areas of the guild. Those are earned a different manner. Some titles are given by High Authority officials in their own way, which probably is posted in their profile in the The Social Service Subforum. Other titles could be found in the Service Departments Subforum and a few others.

If you have a title in mind, suggest it to us and we might add it. We love to have more titles, it'll make variety. We will update titles as much as possible.

Have a title?

Requirements for Title:

PM it to an High Authority official and they shall see if it is good enough to be used. You are welcome to ask as many titles as possible, and please be aware if the title you are using hasn't been used yet. You may find a list of all titles here[link].

Demotions and Consequences

Found also in the second post of this thread.

Now, although the main point of our clan is to have peace and be caring, we much uphold certain limits to that.

As you entered our clan, you upheld a promise to not break our Service Law, which is found here.

As to such, here are the consequences:

1. Break one rule, you get one warning and that is all.
2. Break one more rule, you get demoted to Commoner and must work to obtain your previous rank all over again.
3. Break one more rule, you are automatically stripped of your rank, class, and title. You are also banned from the guild.

It's a three strike rule. Mistakes can happen, we are lenient to most of the rules, but only so much can be taken. You must understand that if you intend to be a "bad egg," the only thing we can do is throw you out. It's not only screwing with our Service Law, but it's our very purpose, you are messing with.

Don't disappoint your clan by trying to mess up what we are trying to represent.
