NEWS AND ANNOUNCMENTS
Messages from the Captain and Crew SEE THE NEWEST POST FOR THE LATEST NEWS4 DECEMBER 2007Long time since an update as information from Nintendo is rather slow on the production of AC:Wii, but Nintendo recently confirmed that it IS still in the works and more information will be coming out soon. I also updated the list of features with two new things that have come to surface. 29 JULY 2007The guild was purchased by me today from a gaian who was selling it for a very reasonable amount. The theme was changed from a Harry Potter roleplay to being under construction for the new Animal Crossing: Wii guild. Old members are welcome to stay, and for the time being, are welcome to continue on with old topics from the forum before I took over as Captain.

Animal Crossing: City Folk is the official name of the codenamed "Animal Crossing Wii" game, coming soon for Nintendo Wii! Information concerning the upcoming release will be updated into stickies for discussion amongst our guild members!

New subforums have been added. A short description of each will follow this news post. I doubt they'll get much activity until when the game launches, but I want to set everything up so we're ready the instant the game gets launched.
I still have plans on opening a couple more subforums. Mainly a "Are your gates open?" forum and a crew member forum. News on that though coming soon (when the funding comes in to open those).
Guild Forums
Animal Crossing: City Folk - The Main board, used for general AC:CF discussion
The Roost - Non-City Folk discussion goes here. It's a general discussion board for AC:GCN, AC:WW, or off-topic stuff.
The Auction House - For City Folk stores. What are you selling or buying? Post that here.
Contests - Both City Folk related and Wild World related contests and such go here.
Guides and Walkthroughs - Post your own AC "How To" guides for people to easier understand and play the game!
Journals and Fan Art Gallery - For posting your player journals on your CF towns or your own AC fan art!
The Bus Stop (COMING SOON) - For posting if your gates are open, if you wanna play online with others, the multiplayer component stuff goes here.
The Back Room of Nookingtons (COMING SOON) - The Crew and Captain discuss guild issues here.

I'd like to thank everyone who helped donate to the guild to set up the guild sub-forums. Without you, we wouldn't have half of the sub-forums we have now!
Speaking of sub-forums, I think those are all the ones I wish to open. At least those are the only ones I had planned on from the post before this one, so don't expect more sub-forums to open unless it is deemed necessary in the future.

17 OCTOBER 2008The official Animal Crossing: City Folk website is now online! This is the official address of the website since the original one, and Nintendo has finally updated it for City Folk. They also confirm AC:CF's release date in the states with this website! November 16th, here we come! http://www.animal-crossing.com/

I'm happy to say that the guild is growing at an extremely rapid pace. We bring in about 30 new members every single week! It's a great growth rate for the guild as a whole.
As such, I will be in need of a few more Crew members. I personally pick my crew, picking individuals who show a particular level of helpfulness and dedication to the guild.
Invites will be going out soon. There will be an update to this announcements thread when they have gone out.

I hope everyone had a great Easter hunting eggs for Zipper T. Bunny!
For those of you who still do not know, I post threads on every download content item that comes out. So far North America has had 3: the Shamrock Hat, the Red Pikmin Hat, and the Nintendo DSi Bench. I apologize to our guildies in Europe, but I can't really post much on your DLC items because Nintendo seems to release them by region (although I heard Europe got the white DSi bench while NA got the black one). At any rate, look for my threads on Download Content! They'll always be labeled "NA Players: Did you get your yet?"
Also I have gotten a few people asking me about the crew member invites I posted a long while ago. Unfortunately the ones I sent them out to have yet to respond, but I'll be sending more invites to Crew Member status out shortly to those who I feel are mature enough to handle the position.
How do you become a crew member? It's easy! Just be active in the guild and helpful to fellow guildies. I do keep track of people who help others and try to reward them accordingly.
And yes, I do still lurk about the guild. Just because I'm not posting does not mean I'm ignoring it. I'm just a stealthful ninja that way.

Hope everyone saw my topic on the newest DLC item: The Mayor Flag!
Also, I've encountered it a few times lately, so I'll say it again:
Please, please, please keep all Friend Code topics in the subforum for it. The correct subforum is the Bus Stop - Are Your Gates Open? board. To better show off that it is the friend code board, I updated the board to mention it. Friend codes go there, not in the other boards.

New sticky on the main forum for a list of WiFi items. I will continue to make individual threads when downloaded items come out, but I'll also add it to the sticky along with any items known for Japan but not other regions.
If you see anything wrong in my post (or if you live in a zone that I listed as Unknown for a released item, please feel free to reply to that thread and let me know of an item's release or lack there of.
