I never noticed this, but in the story synosis, there is one chapter called "The Night Before" or something near the end of it, (It's from when they are about to fight Van again) and Luke actually says he loves Tear in it! It took me until my sixth playthrough to notice that. >_< That why when they are talking, this happens:
LUKE: Um... Tear...
TEAR: What is it?
LUKE: Nevermind.
I found the story synosis part to help confirm:
"The nighttime sea was really beautiful, and so was Tear. I was about to
tell her my true feelings...but I decided not to. After all, I'm going to
disappear. But if she reads this diary after I die, I wonder if she'll
realize anyway? I've tried not to let them show through, but..."

((Sorry if I'm not active for a bit! I just moved into an apartment with my sister and mother and we are still loading things in and stuff. I barely had time to post this, I finally get to sleep on a mattress because my mom and sister went to pick them up... YAY, No more hard floors or LAY-Z boy chairs to sleep on!

Awwww, damn, they really DO love each other! gonk I'm not that much of a LukexTear fan for some reason. Well, actually I am, if Tear is the seme. XD All this shonnen/shojo-ai is poisoning my mind. O_o. Well, I like that they admit they have feelings for each other. Most games I play don't have ANY love confessions, no matter how painfully obvious it is. xp

If you do the most important side quest, Luke also worries over Tear, yet he doesn't do this with anyone else.
It's so cute^-^
I wish they would show Luke and Tear actually being reunited. I would love to see a fanfic, or a doujin where Luke asks Guy about on why he feels the way he does about Tear, and what to do about it.

I choose Guy first, and I squeeled at Guy rubbing the back of his head bashfully, and saying "I didn't know you were that attached to me." X3 Then once Guy disappears, Luke pretty much says the same thing he does with everyone else. If you choose Tear though, everyone will be like, "I knew it, he admit it." And Tear is like, "W-what? What's the meaning of this?" Then she disappears, and here's where it changes. Luke actually mentions he was worried about her. When Tear says "What?" Luke quickly says, "I was worried about your equipment." lol, so strange...he doesn't worry about the equipment when someone else disappears. If you pick Jade, you'll get a really funny scene though XD

Ah, I get it. as much as I don't like to admit it, LukexTear is pretty much as cannon as cannon can be. sweatdrop A shonnen-ai fangirl like me can still dream though, right? I always chose Jade for the Ant-Lion Man one because it was the funniest...
