ok i'm a freaking die hard fan of Stephenie Meyer's books ok .i read twilight 19 times and new moon 18 times and i think a movie would kill the book .i mean she described Edward and hes family in way that no regular person could act out and nooooooooooooooooo its gonna dieeeee .i love her books to much .even if i didn't see the movie. the preview would put me in tears doess anyone agree with me???

Yeah that's exactly how I feel :/ I'm an anti-Twilight movie person...I feel they won't get the characters right and it wouldn't be right. It would really ruin the book for me personally. D: And you picture the charcter the way you want in your head and in the movie he looks all wrong. Ugh. I agree with you 100%!
Edit: Oh and I can't picture any actor that could play Edward

In my own experience, only one movie has ever lived up to a book I read, and it was an anime, so it didn't have limitations of actual human beings for creating the characters
Despite that, my friend says that even though she's certain the movie will be horrible, it'd be at least interesting to see how they characterize each well, character, for lack of better wording
So, I think in the end, they should make a Twilight movie, just for the heck of it (but definently get a better Edward, god he scares the heck outta me, how is he 'hot'?), though they shouldn't make a New Moon or Eclipse

I think there should be a movie just for heck of how it's going to be played out and remember,MTV is not doing it anymore & the new company is trying to be loyal to the book,so be happy for that!
Plus,no one's forcing you to watch it.Even IF there is a movie,just don't watch it if you think it's going to suck or upset you.Don't make such a big deal out of it confused

Harry Potter was enough disappointment for me for a lifetime.
I already have to dread His Dark Materials (aka, The Golden Compass) becoming a movie.
Now Twilight, too?

Hmm. Im not really anti-Twilight-movie.
More like anti-Twilight-butchered-movie.
If they butcher it, i'll be pissed.
But nothing could be as good as the books, anyways...
So..

ok, i just finished eclipse like 10 minutes ago, and it has me convinced. There should be no movie.
Before I was like, hmm, I wonder who would be perfect enough for Edward and talented enough for Bella?
And now I'm like,
FREAKING HECK NO WAY!
It would ruin their characters, their passion, their love. I have my own little movie in my head, and I want to keep it that way. I'm so selfish with this series, even though I've like joined groups where people cult together to love it, I still feel like it's mine (well, my own copy is mine). And if it is broadcast through the whole world with this stupid acting actor woman who isn't my Bella, or worse, a not perfect enough even if he is good looking Edward, I will die. :[

I'd be interested in who they actually gave the roles to.
That's some hard a** casting.
If they did make a movie depending on who acted in it, I would go see it.

I don't think it should be live action or whatever you call it. I think the best way to do it is to give it over to some anime network. They can get teh characters to appear perfectly and tey wouldn't have to worry about special affects. All problems solved!

Well, personally I think that we should and shouldn't.
I agree, that probably they might screw up the plot line and such. And I KNOW that fans like us don't want them to screw up the characters. ESPECIALLY Edward. Right?
But it would be nice to see what would happen to see the book in action. You know? I don't think they'll make the other books into movies as well.
So I'm for and against it, i guess. =D

I belive it would ruen any other book she put out becuae then you would see the careters as the move showed them. I love the book and nothing could do its justed like when i use to think of harry potter. Nothing like hes in the movie theres some things you can act but you cant acted out the love between ed and bella. And if they were to do a movie I go wach it becuse it be one long a** move they would have to put everylast detale in to it i mean that would be a good movie like mosted of you i have my own little movie theres no guy out there tht would look like ed and thats that. I mean if they messed it up i would kill myself becuase i love the book and becuse I like to dream of the way i want them to be. Sorry about spelling its really late and i though i should put this down so bam
