does anyone know why i dream the future cause when i dream it i think its real and has already happened so when i talk about what happened other people dont know what im talking about until it happens and it confuses me. does anyone know how i can stop it?

Since I've worked on blocking out dreaming completely, I don't have that problem anymore. Still, when I had dreams like that when I was little I would always try to figure out if it is a dream or not. When I am awake, (ususally about a half hour before I go to bed) I touch things and focus on the feeling I get from them and confirm them to be "real" and do this until I bed down for the night. After a while of doing this, I could feel that things were not "real" while I was dreaming. Textures, tastes, smells, just follow what you know. I would then go though my day in a state of deja vu when it happened, but I have that seperation of the dream and the reality of it.
Does that make sense?
