Pokemon: The Three Relics
A Literate Roleplay
A ledgend told by all in Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. The ledgend of the three Relics. These ancient relics to have the ability to give power to both people and Pokemon. All three relics represents the region it’s from thus being unable to go into a different region. Rumored to grant one wish to whom may make the relics touch. One in each region and a different reason for everyone who seeks its mystic power. Some seek power, some seeks fame, some seek fortune, while others seek peace. What are you seeking?

Explanations
Battling
[x] Make sure to be reasonable.
-- Snorlax did a back filp and dodged the ice beam. None of that please.
[x] Make sure your opponent get a turn to battle.
-- Golbat used supersonic and then wing attack and then bite knocking out his opponent Skitty. If you didn’t use supersonic and wingattack and bite as a combo then leave it at supersonic and let your opponent get a chance to react to that.
[x] More to come.
Trainer Battles
[x] Yes, you can battle with other guild member. Just make sure you have their permission first before you challenge them.
[x] I may post random Trainer Battles and who ever quotes it first gets to battle them.
[x] While battle posted Trainers you will have to control each side. Once again be reasonable with the battle.
[x] You can run into trainers yourself, but no posts will be rewarded for it.
Gym Battles
[x] Like a trainer battle you control both sides. Be reasonable since gym leaders are fairly stronger than normal trainers.
[x] Most gyms have puzzels. If you don't want to do it then it's fine with me.
[x] Once you defeat a gym battle I will add a badge to your profile and you will recieve $4000 from the leader, the TM you recieve in the game, and an automatic level for all Pokemon who took place in the battle.
-- It's suggested not to send out all you Pokemon just to get a level.

Explanations
Wild Pokemon
[x] You yourself may not encounter wild Pokemon. On occasions I will post a wild Pokemon and whoever quotes it first will get to battle/catch the Pokemon. It doesn't matter if your surfing and a wild Vulpix appears you can catch/batle it as long as you are in the same region.
[x] While in a btalle with a wild Pokemon you must play both sides. You and the wild Pokemon. Just please be reasonable.
[x] You may catch wild Pokemon. But please be reasonable with the ball your using and how many use use.
-- "Pokemon Trainer Ash threw a Pokeball at the wild Dragonair instantly catching it!" None of that junk either.
[x] If you are in the region that the Pokemon may be caught, you can request the Pokemon in an OOC (Out of Character) post. Your first request will be fulfilled while later requests will be taken into consideration. If you've been active and follow thw rules your other requests most likely will be fulfilled.
Evolutions and Experience
This was hard to make up. gonk
[x] Every Pokemon need 7 IC (in character) posts to grow a level.
-- Be descriptive! Nothing like. "May walked along in the forest." I will keep track of levels and such.
-- Every trainer battle that I posted that you battle earns two posts for which ever Pokemon that was sent out first.
-- Wild Pokemon counts as one post same restrictions apply to the trainer battle. No posts are awarded if you catch the Pokemon.
[x] Stone evolutions must be evolved with a stone. Stones can be bought at stores or found if I post them. They can also be one of your three items. (See posts below.)
[x] Tameness evlovtion will take a bit longer to evolve. You must use it in battle often, take good care of it, and make sure it’s happy. I’ll determine when it evolves. If you think it should have evolve and I didn’t say so yet. PM me so we can work something out.
[x] Pokemon that evolve from trades will still have to be traded. Simply ask another guild member to trade with you and then trade back. Heh heh sorry. I couldn't come up with anything better. sweatdrop
Attacks
[x] A Pokemon can have a all of their attacks.
[x] They can only learn a new attack when it reaches that level or taught a that using a TM or HM.
-- I have all the strategy guides starting with G/S to R/S so the I?ll be listing new attacks for you in your character profiles posts. Check to see if they have learned a new attack. I will use the Crystal and R/S books to determine what levels they will be learning them at.
[x] If you want egg moves then you will have to breed you Pokemon with another Pokemon at one of the daycares. Unless you recieved an egg from someone else.

Explanations
Regions
[x] Wherever you begin your journey determines what region you are in. (Duh. xP)
-- If you chose to begin in Kanto you may only catch the Pokemon in that region.
--Say I posted a Spinda. That Pokemon is only found in Hoenn and you are in Kanto. You may not catch it.
[x] Traveling from region to region and don't have a flying Pokemon? Well you can use the train. You can access the train anytime you want.
-- If your in Kanto and decide to take the train to Hoenn, it isn't going to take 5 minutes.
-- Kanto to Jhoto: One posts of what you are doing in the train.

Items and Money
[x] Items will be sold at stores you see in towns and cities. I?ll post a list of common items. If what your looking for isn?t on the list then PM and we can work out a price.
-- Don't expect Masterballs to be sold in stores.
[x] If you bought something make sure to post it in a post! So I can correctly reduce the amount of money and add new items.
[x] If you lose a trainer battle, it doesn't matter which kind, you will loose half of your money. No questions asked.
-- If it's a battle with another guild member then they get the money. If it isn?t then you loose the money, but no one else gets it.
[x] Some times I will post a random item and whoever quotes it gets it. Doesn?t matter what region your in.
[x] Everytime your Pokemon grows a level you recieve $200. That way you can still earn mony with having to wait for a trainer battle.

Getting Starting
Everyone starts off with $500, 5 Pokeballs, three items of your choice, Train Ticket, and a starter Pokemon.
Starter Pokemon can be any Pokemon you want as long as it can be found in the region you start in and isn''t a legendary or extremely rare Pokemon. I said region, not town. If it was clear.
Try to start off in the same region as another player so we can have some roleplay interaction between member. whee

Personality: Kasiya, often called Kassie by her friends, grew up in the seaside city of Vermilion. Intelligent, quiet and patient, she has read countless books on everything Pokemon since she was a small child. She is very caring by nature, and also a little naive.
History: She often sat in on many battles in the Vermilion Gym, which helped her learn to love electric type Pokemon. Personality: Nina has been described as being cold by some and cruel by others. Her heart seems to be closed off to others, but that is simply because she is afraid of being emotionally hurt.
History: Nina is the long-lost sister of Kanto gym leader Sabrina. Less than three years after Sabrina's birth, her parents had another child, whom they named Nina; however, at that time they were unable to keep Nina because Sabrina's psychic powers began to develop, and when she threw a temper, the environment became unsafe. Knowing that Nina would be better off elsewhere and out of harm's way, her parents gave her to Nina's aunt and uncle, who live in Blackthorn City in Johto. It was around the same age as Sabrina that Nina's own psychic powers began to develop-- however, unlike Sabrina who took a preference with Psychic-type Pokemon, Nina found her interest in Ghosts, being able to communicate with them. When it was Nina's sixteenth birthday, she overheard her aunt and uncle (whom she had known to be her parents) talking about what it was like when Nina had first arrived and what they had gone through. Watching anything to keep him from getting bored for too long, he aquired a vast amount of pokemon know-how while he was young. That information came in handy when he discovered his passion for breeding and rearing young pokemon. While working part-time at the day-care center the owners gave him a gift, an egg. Personality: Jenna is a natural leader and knows how to take control of nearly any situation. If in unfamiliar territory or with people she''s not familiar with, she takes a back seat to the action until she knows where to fit in best. An avid reader and daydreamer, Jenna tries to keep her mind on her journey and takes excellent care of her two precious pokemon. Honest and truthful to a fault, she has a habit of saying exactly what''s on her mind in nearly any situation.
History: Jenna grew up in Lavender town near the great Pokemon Tower. She had a job there early in life taking care of the graves of dead pokemon, and her reverence for life and for pokemon dates from that time. Recently having caught her first two, she is determinded that they should grow up strong and agile so they will not rest within the Tower too early in their lives. In order to do this, she has left her home and travels the land improving her pokemon''s skills and strengths, always looking for more pokemon to ''rescue'' from their dangerous wild lives. Upon arriving in Lilycove Mitsu's eyes were in awe of the sights. The Pokemon contest building was amazing and the department store was almost as big as the research center back in Mossdeep. "Ken, look tall grass!", she exclaimed as excited as a little kid in a candy store.
Ken let out a friendly chuckle. "You've never seen tall grass before?", he asked a bit mockingly. Although his face didn't show it his eyes did. He was in awe himself. He hadn't seen a Pokemon contest building either. "Hey Mitsu, why not go into the tall grass? You know Pokemon hid there," he suggested after sanpping back into reality.
"Hm?" Mitsu replied. "Okay, sure." She had anticapated this moment since they were flying on Ken's father's Pidgeot. The two made their way over to the grass area on the outskits of Lilycove.

Kasiya slowly walked up the street, gently holding her egg. Every now and then, she could feel it moving inside, and her heart would beat with excitement. What was inside? How much longer until it hatched? Would the baby contained within like her? Questions raced through her mind as she stopped to readjust her bandana, which she had been using to swaddle the egg.
"Alright, but you'd better play fair this time!" cried a voice up ahead of her. Kasiya looked up and saw two boys, probably no more than ten years of age, poised about twenty feet away from each other. Each held a Pokeball and wore an mixed expression of determination and nausea. She sat down under a big, leafy tree to watch the boys battle, her unborn Pokemon ocaisionally squirming inside its shell.

Ken lead the way to the tall grass. Mitsu seemed extemely excited. The look on her face made Ken smile. A small smile broke threw his lips. He remeber his first time in the tall grass with his father. How exciting it had been.
Mitsu follwed Ken into the tall grass. The grass itself was about up to the thighs. She scanned the area, but found no Pokemon in sight.
