A cool breeze flew across the grass as it played in the cool night. Shadows danced along the ground as the full moon shone in the sky with all its splendor. The dark lioness was once again on the move. She had spoken to a heard of antelope the day before, asking if they has seen sight of a blood red lioness. They had mentioned the sight of a creature but being as scatterbrained as they were, she had a feeling they answered out of fear. Her mother bad taught her to respect every creature and treat them to be more than mere food. Seemed like it didn't always work.
Her crimson eyes scanned the dark lands, in search of any life. She heard a few crickets, but nothing more than that. Her ear flicked back a few times, and she reached up her front paw and rubbed it, causing the gnat that was inside to stop playing with the fur.

Banji's day had started with him being awoke by a little cub gnawing on one of his feet. Apparently, she was learning to hunt and had mistaken him as a food source. Oh, the woes of being colored like one of those zebra.
But, really, he was glad she had mauled him and not a real zebra, which could have easily kicked such a tiny creature to death, or stomped on one, or any number of things.
She had told him he was in claimed lands. Pridelands, was it? He wondered if he had managed to get out of them yet. He certainly didn't want to start any trouble.
Seeing the female up ahead, he called politely, "Excuse me, are we still in the Pridelands?"

Jina looked ahead to see the zebra colored lion with a little growth on his foot. "Yes." She said with a smile when she noticed the growth was a cub. It was nice to see someone else. It had been a while since she had seen another lion. Maybe he had seen her mother.
She stood up and made her way towards the two toned lion, "We are still in the Pridelands."

"Shame," Banji mumbled thoughtfully to himself. He'd been a rogue for a long time now, and the only pride he'd dwelled in was the Unity Walkers with his sister. He was told not all prides were as welcoming as that one, though. "Do you know how far to the border by any chance?"

She shook her head. "I don't." Jinamizi looked through the dark night. "To tell you the truth, I'm not sure where any of the boarders are." She had wandered around after her father had died, but for the most part stayed within the Pridelands, or so she thought. The landscape looked the same, vast planes of grass with scattered trees. She guessed she was within the lands. Turned out she was right.

"Is that right?" Not that surprising. Almost expected, even. It wasn't as if there was some line of brought red rocks placed across the line that marked the end of this place, or any other prides. But he had met a lion once who had known.
"Reguardless, thank you for your assistance."
