August 14th, 2007 - Final Announcement

All the proper links can be found at the top of this post. The OOC thread will probably be deleted, too. It's sad that we have to end this here, but we now have a nifty guild, the link for which is, like I said, at the top of this post. I would like to thank SDRP for being the wonderful home for the original RP, which was short but sweet. We were only up a few weeks and managed to need to stretch our legs immediately. Truth be told, we only went through two school days, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Feel free to join us at the guild!

I added a new section to post 2! We now have a place to put House of Bricks art! I noticed some people in this RP like to draw (myself included) and might be the kind of people who like drawing out scenes from the RP. We'll be putting things such as character sketches, scene drawings, mini-comics, or some funnies you may think of. :3 Have fun!

Okay, just a few things. First, regarding some of the less experienced RPers in this roleplay. This is a guild to help people get better at roleplaying, is it not? Everyone in this roleplay takes our advice when we tell them what they need to work on. People can't get better instantly over night. It does take time. I'm only bringing this up because one or two people aren't pleased with my decisions on allowing them in this rp. I'll admit, a couple people here would've been better off in a beginners roleplay, and in a perfect worl that would've happened, but this is not a perfect world and I am in no way trying to perfect it. I have no problem with anyone who is currently in the roleplay, so no one else should have any problems, either. This roleplay was moved to intermediate before it even started, and while I would like to keep it here, I'm not going to "strictly enforce" perfect grammar and spelling. I'll let people know to work on it, but I'm not cramming anything down anyone's throats.

Second, in regards to the guild. Alright, this roleplay has only been active for quite literally, a little over a week. And while it is near riciculous how many posts we already have, I'm in no RUSH to start the guild, it was just an idea for the future. I didn't want to begin plans immediately. That'd make it seem like I just came here to steal away some of SDRP's members. Which I didn't. I joined this guild to have fun, and I like it here. I don't want to hear anything else about hurrying up and starting the guild. This is MY DECISION. What it all boils down to is I am the one running this roleplay. I try to be fair, but it's beginning to pull me in eight different directions, and I'd just as soon only be heading in ONE.

Third, my GM's. I chose the GM's I did because I thought they'd be fair and helpful. While I haven't been very informative to them (And I do apologize for that), they're still sticking with me. However, ANY GM trying to do more than I have asked of them from this point on will immediately be stripped of the title, whether or not they've run successful roleplays in the past. Fact is, YOU ARE NOT RUNNING THIS ROLEPLAY. I am.

Alright, now that I've made my self sound like a total beetch, everyone have a nice day and have fun. If you have any questions don't be afraid to PM me. I won't bite your head off, I swear. : x

About

The House of Bricks School of Weaponry is one of the finest weaponry schools in the country of Konalter. With elite teachers, most students that attend leave being incredibly skilled in some sort of weaponry. Being such a fine school, the tuition is steep. About 55 percent of the students attending come from well-to do families. Another 30 percent are students who have saved for the weaponry school their entire lives. 10 percent are children or close family of some of the staff, and the remaining 5 percent are the scholarship students. What the students and most of the staff who attend don't know of the school is that secretly the heads of staff have decided to start a war with Ninden, a neighbouring country, using the students.

This is a completely interactive roleplay intact with GM's. :3 While in most rp's some characters never meet eachother, everyone will meet atleast once at the House of Bricks due to the magnitude of some assignments and classes. I will select two or three other GM's to help me out eventually, as I'm not online all the time like I wish I could be. GM's DO NOT decide everything that goes on. We will decide basically when things happen that involve Ninden. People with head of staff characters will get to decide when and what kinds of assignments the teachers are to give and how long the assignment lasts. People with Teacher characters get to decide who is in which team for certain assignements that require teams. A new team is formed for every assignment to get students used to working with different people with different skills. Students get to decide what happens during their assignments. Everyone gets to decide what they're doing in their free time. See? Normal rp, just with a couple little different things.

As well as weaponry, there will also be academics. Everyone is required to take all the basic academic courses. It's no good to be great with a weapon, but not be able to plan any kinds of strategies.

Rules and HoB related Art

These rules are common sense and posted practically EVERYWHERE. I expect you to know them by now, but here's a refresher... Read closeley, though, because if you don't, I will know. :3

1) Literacy is important! It's okay if english isn't your first language or your writing skills aren't up to par. As long as you're trying, it'll all be okay. :3
2) One liners are okay ONCE IN A WHILE. >O
3) God-modding = NO.
4) Romance is allowed. I personally love romance. :3 But CYBERING IS A BIG NONO! D:
-Please note that romance between students and teachers is A-OKAY. :3
5) Please don't join if you don't think you'll be able to keep up with posting. (I.E. ATLEAST one post per day.) If you're going to be gone for an extended period of time, please PM me and let me know, as well as anyone you're posting with at the time.
6) PM me you profiles! DO NOT post them here in the thread. I will simply ignore them.
7) Please title your PM "House of Cards" or I will ignore it.
8 ) Cursing? Allowed, but in moderation.
9) No killing off other people's characters without permission. :3
10) Please don't submit your character as a student if they're really good with weapons! I don't care if your character is 14 or a hundred and twelve years old, if they're good with weapons, please submit them as a teacher. It's a SCHOOL for a reason. :3
11) Students may 'know their stuff' and be okay with a weapon already, but they can't be incredible and able to wipe the floor with someone upon admittance. STUDENTS SHOULD STAND NO CHANCE AGAINST TEACHERS!
12) I will allow characters with magic powers. Infact, even a student can kick a** with their magical skills, and they can be used in some assignments when necessary, but remember, this IS a weaponry school. :3
13) Your character may be of any race. ANYTHING. I don't care. :3
14) Please do not make any posts until I give you the say so or until your profile has been added to the roster.
15) I'm going to have to limit actions per post to three, due to this being a literate, intermediate level rp. People need a chance to react.

Strengths: Able to make decisions under pressure, quick thinking.
Weaknesses: Can be a little harsh on those who don't get perfect results. Views those who do not wish to fight as weak.
Weapon: any kind of one handed sword/knife. Can also duel wield and use small shield with a sword. Currently favours: oriental sword and small shield (shield) (sword)
Personality: Cool, even cold at times, Karariv only says what needs to be said. She makes judgements quickly and is able to cope under severe pressure. She believes that one must fight in order to survive and that fighting promotes growth and improves natural selection. Only seems to get pleasure from combat. Unknown to others Karariv misses her days in the military, and the thrill of combat, and is willing to do anything to revive those days, even if it means starting a war.
Bio: Formerly in the military, Karariv left to teach others knowing that one day someone would have to replace those at the top. She is well versed in military tactics and her military experience has given her the ability to use many different types of weapon.
Extra: Karariv is an Elf, and while she has a natural magical ability based on nature, she has shunned this in favour of weapon enchantments. She can enchant weapons with a variety of effects including dealing extra elemental damage, to deal more damage to specific creaturesa and to be much harder to break.
She has a large collection of swords, all of which she has used in battle at some point, her most prized sword is the one she recieved when she retired from the military. Retiree Sword

Appearance: Brown hair with grey just above his ears. His left ear is pierced once, with a silver hoop. His eyes are a very piercing light blue. He wears mostly greys and blacks. A loose grey tunic over a fitted black long-sleeved unershirt. He also has light chainmail on beneath his clothing. He wears brown elbow length gauntlets. His pants are black, and black boots come to his knees. The only real color on him besides his brown gauntlets is a bright green ribbon tied to the hilt of his sword.

Strengths: He has a brilliant mind, and an ability to make a decision at the drop of a hat.
Weaknesses: His thirst for war and revenge
Weapon: He specializes in tonfa, but carries a sword for emergencies.
Personality: Very straight-laced. He has too many serious matters on his mind to be bothered with things like having fun.
Bio: Garreth was once a student at the House of Bricks. He married a woman who graduated with him. Shortly after their marriage, a war started, and his wife was discovered to be pregnant. Garreth went off to fight, and when he returned, he found his wife's body laying near the fire place, with a hole in her stomach and a pile of ashes in the fire place, along with a tiy charred hand. Garreth nearly went insane and swore revenge upon Ninde (the country they were warring with at the time). He eventually became one of the Staff Heads at the House of Bricks. After the other two left, he recruited two more Staff heads with the same ideals as him: using the students of the school to begin a war by sending them blindly into Ninde territory.

Age: 27
Appearance: Horatus is the typical battle hardened man, except he has no scars from the many battles he's been a part of due to the fact he is part vampire. He towers above almost everyone standing 6'4" of almost pure muscle. Horatus's hair is flawless silver, not from age but that's how he was born, and his eyes are pitch black just daring others to look into them.

Strengths: Due to being part vampire he is imhumanly strong and fast with sences above the normal ability as well.
Weaknesses: He is very sensative to sunlight and hates to admit the fact he can be wrong at times.
Weapon: Horatus fights with the sword gifted him by the elves when he fought for one of their cities (depicted) but he can also weild a broadsword with amazing skill and ease.
Personality: Think of a high ranking officer in any army, barking orders and taking no excuses, and that is Horatus... most of the time. Oddly enough he has a strong paternal streak that encompasses anyone he grows fond of whether they be younger or older.
Bio: Horatus's mother was raped by a rouge vampire and that forced union created Horatus, born from violence into violence. His mother then avoided male contact as much as possible so he grew up without any fatherly figure which might explain his strong paternal side. His mother died when he turned 20 after he had taken care of her for five years and he was left to do as he pleased, so he joined a group of missionaries who trained him with weapons. Missionary work became boring for Horatus as his skills quickly surpasses anyone around him so he broke off to do his own work where he pleased until he finally ended up at The House of Bricks and a Head.
Extra: As a child Horatus found an abandoned wolfpup which he raised to be the biggest black wolf anyone had ever seen, it continues to follow him around. The wolf's name is Sasha.

Ready for battle She appears to be human, but noone is truly sure. Fair skinned with deep lavender eyes. She has long silky white hair, tied back in a braid that hangs down to her knees. Thin wavy strands trail from in front of her ears down to her chest. She is clad in a white corset with sleeves that come to her wrist with the cloth coming to a point and a white gem set in silver on top of each hand. A white skirt is wrapped around her waist in a somewhat egyptian style. She wears thigh high white boots with silver trim on the top and similar jewels on the boots' hip areas and toes. She bares a cloth choker around her neck that has a small pearl drop hanging from it. She wears silver earrings of a crescent moon with single pearl drops hanging from them. On her forehead is a small headband/tiara that also bears a silver crescent moon with a pearl drop. Normally, unless in battle, she wears a large, fire proof cloak that is a deep dark lavender (almost grey) color which hangs down to her ankles. It is pinned at her right shoulder with a brooch of another crystalline gem set in silver.
Weapon: A tall staff (about as tall as herself) with a large silver crescent shaped sickle mounted on it(both the inside and outside edges of the blade are sharp). Beneath the blade is mounted a large opaque crystalline gem.
Strengths: Is very wise and is a good listener. Quick-footed and able to read others quickly after engaging them in battle.
Weaknesses: Can sometimes lose her temper and composure easily, depending on the situation. Has trouble with split-second decisions.
Personality: Very reserved, especially when teaching. When speaking she is concise and to the point and dislikes "drawing things out". On a personal level, she is more softhearted. She is kind and sincere, but does not see the point in holding back the truth. She believes honesty is a more powerful asset than deception. In battle, she changes to a hardened and serious fighter. Even against her students, she refuses to hold back. She believes this to be the best way to educate them and help them strive to better themselves.
Bio: Silver grew up as a priestess within an ancient temple to an unnamed Goddess of Light and Life. This is where she learned how to fight, as well as her other abilities. Due to Silver's vast wisdom, fighting ability, and her ability to heal, noone knows how old she truly is. After venturing the world, she joined the school's faculty in an effort to educate others about the world along with its many wonders and dangers. Silver takes great pride in the school's reputation, but personally believes it should be open to all and not restricted to the wealthy. She takes even greater pride in her own students successes. She is very devoted to her students and has an open door policy to any who wish to come to her for help or advice.
Extra: Silver's other abilities consist of empathy, the ability to heal herself and others, and 2 spells: A Light spell and a Force spell. Her Light spell produces anywhere from a small flicker to a blinding flash of light. It can be used to light dark places like a torch, or as a means of distraction or disorientation during a fight. Her Force spell is just as the name implies- it creates a force of invisable energy able to knock a target away from her. She can use this spell with little or no movement, but it is most effectively used while making strikes with her hands in battle, making the impact of her hits much stronger than they normally would be. She uses both during her sparring sessions to increase the challenge on her students as they become stronger.

Silver also has a...partner. If you can call him that. He is a small, white, talking, pygmy wolf by the name of Korichiko.
Korichiko might often be mistaken as a pet or familiar, but he's neither. Silver befriended him at an unknown point in her earlier journies and he has since then stuck by her side. Sometimes, much to Silver's dismay. Korichiko is known best for being a chatterbox and a loudmouth. He doesn't take other people or their feelings into account when speaking, and is often far more to the point than Silver herself is. Or maybe it's just better to say that he is BLUNT. Korichiko also has the ability to fly, though he doesn't have wings. Okay, he floats more than he flies, but who's keeping track?
Regardless of his shortcomings, Silver and Korichiko are good friends and confide in eachother. Korichiko sometimes joins Silver in class (much to her chagrin at times) to help her teach. Korichiko is also surprisingly knowledgable about many things, which he doesn't hesitate in letting others know. Did I mention he's a chatterbox?
Korichiko also tends to be very sarcastic about things and won't think twice about getting in your face if you make him mad. So yeah...don't do that.

Character's name: Akakage aka: Red Shadow
Age: 932 (really its just 32 but the tails add 100 years because he's half demon.)
Appearance: Demon Mode Normal Mode(Looks close to my avi.) Red hair, has a red headband just above his eyes. He wears a dark red jacket over a red polo, black pants with red markings at the bottom, red shoes, black fingerless gloves, and has two katana on his back. He also has a black scarf around his face giving him a mysterious vibe. His eyes are dark brown. When in demon mode he acquires nine foxtails and red eyes.
Height: 5"9
Strengths: Reflective and analytical, good at last minute decisions and strategies, incredibly fast, agile, and strong. Mastery of most weapons known and legendary skills with his two katana.
Weaknesses:Forgetful and very laid back. Not very patient and falls asleep often. loses a lot of energy when hungry.
Weapon: His two katana are both very different. The first has a black blade and a red fox head as the hand guard. The hilt and the sheath is black as well. The other is a completely red blade with no hand guard. The hilt and sheath is completely blood red in color.
Personality: A laid back teacher who will not teach a student unless the student is persistent and willing to learn. Believes a person can only get better if they choose to get better. Aside his teaching attitude he's usually kind and very understanding. Will only fight if either provoked or protecting something or someone. Due to his training he's very deceptive and silent.
Bio: Akakage is an orphaned child who was adopted by a ninja clan due to his special abilities. Becoming the top ninja within the clan at age 20, he decided to master all the weapons he can before age 24. After achieving his goal he was scouted by the school to teach weapon handling in which he gladly accepted. Because of his laid back attitude most students that train under him usually if not all the will have to force him to work. All his student though become well versed in the ways of weaponry and often graduate with flying colors.
Extra: The special abilities he possessed was the ability to teleport. With that ability the ninja clan adopted him, but soon later found out he would acquire more abilities. At the back of the clan was a sealed youkai known as a kitsune. Unlucky or lucky for Akakage he manage to unseal the beast. The ninetail monstrousity was about to wreck havoc on the world until Akakage fought it. Already weak from being sealed the beast was losing to the boy, in which he cursed Akakage. After defeating the demon fox, the demons nine tails attached itself to Akakage and then dissappearing within the boy leaving only kanji on his back. With each tail he aquired a new power. The powers to manipulate fire, water, wind, earth, ice, lightning, shadows, and light were at his command and he aquired the power to talk to spirits. These powers only manifested themselves when he goes to a demon like state. The monstrosity of a fox himself was chibified and became a pet, much to its changrin, to Akakage. Akakage called the fox Teme (b*****d). Although they've been through a lot together they usually quarrel when no one else is watching. Teme

Character's name: Garret Stockhold
Age: 34
Appearance: Garret has sheered hair, almost army regulation. He has black eyes that catch a little more than they're supposed to, and they can be a trifle unsettling at times, "tactition's eyes," most of the teachers agree. He is semi-tanned in complexion, and has a very strong build. He constantly wears business-suits, no matter the occasion, unless it is training.
Height: 5'11"
Strengths: Well, brute force, precision, and defensive/offensive manuevers.
Weaknesses: Agility, magic, projectiles.
Weapon: Iron-casted enhanced knuckles. ((Brass Knuckles made of iron.))
Personality: Quiet, extremely curt and brief. He is very cut and dry and keeps his emotions hidden from students, at least.
Bio: Garret grew up with a militant father, and a passive mother. The house was the exact definition of a nuclear family, until his mom passed away from heart failure, due to not eating properly. This left him in the care of Juarez Garret Stockhold, who trained him in all that he could, physically and mentally.
Extra: Has a bit of a smoking problem, not an addiction yet, but it could be serious if given time.

arrow Your Gaia Name: Beauregarden
Character's name: Silaqui Nailo
Age: 216 (appears mid-twenties)
Appearance: Silaqui is thin but toned, not delicate looking in the slightest. She has sharp slanted green eyes, tan skin, and long unruly brown hair. Being an elf, her ears are long and pointy, and she's of medium height for an elf - which is rather short for a human. She usually wears all black, lightly armored, with a tan burnoose wrapped around her shoulders.
Height: 5'1"
Strengths: Silaqui is an expert in any kind of long-range weaponry, especially bows. She's also amazingly flexible and has perfect balance. She is decent at fighting with whatever weapon she picks up.
Weaknesses: Her greatest weaknesses are, simply put, her personality. Unless people earn her respect, she is frosty and short with them. She also has extremely bad luck with explosives, and always inevitably ends up almost blowing herself up.
Weapon: Best weapon is any kind of bow, including crossbow.
Personality: As said before, until someone earns her respect, she has little patience or kindness for them. However, once her trust is earned, she has an unwaveringly loyal dedication to them. She has a very dry sense of humor, and has a tendency to make sarcastic crips under her breath.
Bio: Silaqui has had a long, complicated history that involves traveling across most of the map, and saving the world once or twice. She was born and raised in Melthinae, but she doesn't consider it home. Most recently, she was in Aslomnia, stranded in the desert... and now she's here.
Extra: She doesn't have any magic, but she has a great knowledge of herbs, potions, and history, having created a good deal of it herself.

Character's Name: Jazen Na’ Idori.
Age: Appears to be around 20.
Gender: Female.
Race: Dark elf, though she is often confused as a grey elf.
Appearance: Jazen is a creature of curves against a people generally androgynous in appearance, due to their wide shoulders and near-flat chests. Her skin is the color of silver, due to a potion. After the accident, she swore off of cosmetics of any . Her hair is pale silver and her eyes are violet, leading to a striking appearance. She wears an iron circlet with an ebon-sapphire drop hanging from it. Her hair is otherwise let loose to move as it may, though it always seems to display her pointed ears. She wears a silver pendant on a black leather string, and also wears a strap choker. She wears black leather clothing, a dagger with a crystal hilt, called Crenshivyre, A silver whip around her waist, and a series of hidden daggers.
Height: 5’6” (Actually, she’s very tall for her race.)
Strengths: She can see in the infrared spectrum, so she doesn’t need light to see. She is extremely stealthy, and her senses are honed to the extreme. Jazen can literally smell fear.
Weaknesses: Her emotions, her fear of red eyes, her claustrophobia, and her blind trust.
Weapon: She enjoys the use of a whip, as do many of the females in her race.
Personality: Jazen, with her kind and gentle demeanor, seems to be the only one of her kin that evaded their natural, finely honed, deep-seated sense of mistrust. She is very intelligent, and can tell the difference from the truth an outright lie.
Bio: Once a revered drow princess in a grand but terrible subterranean culture, Jazen’s kind nature led to pain. She was trained in all manners of torture, assassination, and weaponry, as everyone believed her to be the daughter of their deity. As the priestesses of Lloth- their foul, blood craving goddess- discovered she was not the cold-hearted killer they thought she would be, they lined her up for sacrifice. But by allying herself with a were-cat, princess Na’ Idori escaped to the surface. She found life to be totally inhospitable, as she was completely rejected, if not hunted down, by the people of the surface world. She tried to use a potion to bleach her skin, leaving it as lustrous as silver. But things got easier after that. She could live among the surface-dwellers without being hunted down. She sold the majority of her luxurious possessions, with the exception of her whip, circlet, dagger and silver armor, to buy her way into the House of bricks Academy.
Extra: She has the uncanny ability to read people’s minds, and tell things about them that are otherwise hidden.

Bio: An ancient and powerful being, Kaizen never had a family or a home. He was created rather than born, sent to this world as a defender in case of a worldwide emergency. He only recent began a teaching career, trying to lead a normal life, and not letting others know of his true self.
Extra: As an Istari, Kaizen has vast knowledge of all pathes of magic. Rarely does he ever use it, but should the situation arise, he is not afraid to use it.

Appearance: Namen Her skin is tanned, and her hair is white, thick, curly, and falls to around her knees. She keeps it seperated in pigtails that are fat just above the point where her hair goes into two long tubes, sprinkled with bells. The tubes go from her shoulders to around her waist. Her hair flows back out at the bottom. Her eyes are a very bright green, and her pupils are white. She has three moles on the left side of her face, one under her eye, one above the corner of her mouth, and one on her chin. She tends to wear a minimal amount of clothing, as little as she can get away with, so she can move easier. Her top is two pieces of grey cloth, the front held together by a loop with strings and bells tied around it, and the back is connected by three thin ropes. She wears a short, red loin-cloth like skirt under a violet loin cloth-like sarong The front half of the violet one is long and thin, going just past her knees. The back is split into two just below her bottom. Each piece is thick and long, each with a ball just above the point where it touches the ground. The rest of the cloth drags the ground from there, and is somewhat dirty and tattered. Her boots are dark grey with violet strings, and stop just inches below her knees. She wears no stockings or jewelry, save a piece of red cloth around her neck tied in the front with a black string. On her stomach around her belly button is a tattoo of a black sun-like symbol, with only one ray on the bottom half and 9 rays on the top half. On her back is the same symbol, enlarged and flipped upside down.

Personality: She's spunky and slightly over-energetic. She's happy, but also quick to anger. She'll give her trust to a person until they prove to her she can't trust them, which tends to get her in a bit of trouble sometimes.
Bio:Blind since birth due to a curse her grandfather had managed to get put on the family when he was still young, Namen was raised in Aslomnia (Her first name happens to mean Sparrow in Aslomnian), near Kespek, by her grandfather, known to some as the great Faust Mali who once fought a hundred men on his own and survived. Now he's just an old guy. She has never met her parents, but her father was actually from Ninde, and her mother, Faust's daughter, had run off with him shortly after Namen was born. Her grandfather has recently enrolled her in the House of Bricks School in Weaponry. He'd had her tuition put aside since the moment Namen's mothe was found to be pregnant.

Weaknesses: He has no real weakness, just a small lack of strength, but he makes it up with speed..
Weapon: A dagger that is hidden in a small pocket in his armour, but he prefers a golden colored Katana, that is 3 feet long, and has a curve in the blade for faster attacks.
Personality: Keeps to himself a lot, but when agrrivated, he may lash out at people randomly.
Bio: He lived in a secluded town, he had learned how to use a few weapons, but he prefers to use his Katana that his father had gave him. He had learned how to summon a Wryvine, when he was at the age of ten. When he turned 17 he had heard about the school, and he had decided to join, so he could learn how to use the Katana better.
Extra: He is able to Summon a Wryvine to help him fight (For those who don't know what it is, it is a baby dragon, that follows the one that summons it, and helps the summoner, no matter what.) And when he is angered, he can cast fire magic, but he burns himself when he does.

Appearance: Generally wears a black vest, with a black shirt underneath. He wears baggy pants, as well as a pair of shoes that appear to be armored - most likely to protect them from harm in combat. Besides this, he also dons a Black helmet that protects his entire head, which includes a silver visor that cannot be seen through, but offers a clear view from the inside. Underneath his gear, he has dark skin and blue hair, with blue eyes.

Strengths:Incredibly fast and agile
Weaknesses: His hot-blooded nature makes him snap easily at those who disagree with him, as well as leading him to jump into situations without thinking. Strongly believes in doing most things himself, although he has no problems with working with others.
Weapon: Gauntlets
Personality: Tenma is a very hot blooded individual. His recklessness is the sole cause of the many injuries he has gained over the years , but this has done little to change his basic attitude.
Bio: Little is known of his past, expect every penny he had was spent in order to get into the school in order to better his skills.
Extra: Tenma can channel his chi to create rudimentary projectile attacks. They vary wildly in power, however, and often disspate before even hitting on target.

Appearance: Nyx is a centaur, the lower half of her body, the horse part, is sleek and black. She is muscled from years of running, and she has numerous scars over her body. She has pale white skin on the top half of hr body, creating a stark contrast between the two halves. She wears a deep green top that is pretty much just a bra, and has no other adornments. Her hair is black, to match the lower half of her body, and is always kept pinned up out of her way. She has bright blue eyes, and strong features. She always wears a proud face, and looks down on most others. She is an imposing force to reckon with.
Height: 6'5", short for a centaur.
Strengths: Nyx is an amazing runner, due to her being half horse, and can beat almost any non-centaur opponent.
Weaknesses: She is very proud and will let her temper flare if insulted in any way. She's quite touchy.
Weapon: Bow and Arrow
Personality: Again, she's very touchy, most likely due to her wild nature that centaurs are known for. She tends to think most others are beneath her and treats them as so, much to the dismay of those she degrades.
Bio: Like all centaurs, no matter how few of them are left, she grew up in the wild forests, hunting and caring for herself. She had a normal relationship with her parents and siblings, or as normal as could be for her race. Her clan was the wealthiest of them all, and she was born into the head family, hence why she was able to pay to get into the school. The centaurs don't usually send their own out of their forests, but every decade or so, a child is chosen to go into the world for further training, to better they community when they come back. When she left, the minor clans were rising up against the head clan, planning to take over and demolish the hierarchy. Nyx was chosen to go to the school to help stop the uprising.
Extra: upon finishing her training, Nyx is not planning on going back to her clan, she will become the leader of the uprising, without her clans knowledge.

Bio: Dorothy is a Fairy/Vampyre. She has the size of a Vampyre but the Ablilites of a fairy. She can fly, and heal. Dorothy was born to a single mother. Her father died soon after her mother became pregant. Dorothy's mother raised her the best she could untill she died when Dorothy was 10. For the past 7 years Dorothy has lived on her own working any jobs she could get ahold of. She finally has collected enough money to go to The House of Bricks School. She has taught herself some bow skills and she knows a bit of how to work with her daggers. She hopes to learn enough skills to someday be a master at both of her weapons.
Extra: Dorothy can use water to heal herself and others.

Strengths: The fact that she is a Fallen Angel and has seen all manner of violence so most things don't really bother her anymore.
Weaknesses: Luna refuses to care for anyone, at least on the outside, and therefore is cut off from normal interactions with people.
Weapon: Luna was trained in all weapons for the purpose of being one of Hell's assasigns until she ran away from that life. Her favorite weapons are silver throwing stars decorated with tiny rubies.
Personality: Luna is outwardly cold to everyone and everything due to her past. That doesn't stop her from being a kind and caring person on the inside, though she will never show or admit that fact.
Bio: Luna was one of Heaven's most innocent and pure angels when she first became an angel, but then she fell only a short time later and heaven mourned her falling. The reason for her falling was her loyalty to those she had come to care for. It seems irronic she would fall for such a reason, but it wasn't until later did the higher powers see what really happened. Luna took the blame for a pointless joke two of her closest friends pulled of a couple humans, causing most of them to be wounded or even dead, so her friends wouldn't get in trouble. She didn't understand that the punishment was to be banished from heaven and therefore be a Fallen Angel. Once she fell Luna was immediately taken for training to enhance her natural ability, in hopes that she would one day lead all the assasigns in hell.
Extra: Luna has the protection of the moon, hence her name, because it heard her prayers for forgiveness when no one else did.

Appearance: Mariye is very tall, with a gentle smile and warm blue eyes. His hair is long and sleek and red, usually either pulled over on the side in a loose ponytail or elaborately braided. He looks in every way female, and does not dissaude others from this conception, including wearing flowing dresses and jewelry.
Height: Probably about 6' even
Strengths: He is actually quite strong, physically, although sometimes he doesn't check his strength. His greatest personality stregths, however, are his inviting and forgiving nature.
Weaknesses: He evades the subject of gender, and as said before, he sometimes doesn't realize how strong he is.
Weapon: He's fairly proficient with a sword, but his primary weapon is a claymore. Which he hasn't discovered yet.
Personality: As said before, Mariye is extremely kind and forgiving. He's a great listener, very motherly, and is always calm about everything. When the subject of gender comes up, if ever, he sort of slides around and changes the subject. While not actively against of fighting, it's easy to see that fighting is one of last things he'd rather be doing.
Bio: Mariye has a very interesting story. He was born into a small village, and always coddled and loved and petted. At seventeen, however, through an interesting and lengthy set of circumstances, he ended up betrothed to the Prince of the Realm (if that's all right, otherwise I can make it simply a noble son), who is still under the impression that Mariye is a girl. As of now, he is still Mariye Altere from a small town in Magdia, but he has obviously rich connections and a great desire to keep his secret safe.
Extra: He is completely and utterly human.

Weaknesses: He's kind of a doof. In a cute way. And he hasn't really aquired much wisdom yet.
Weapon: He likes swords the best, but he's good at pretty much anything. (he has a lot to learn, he just picks it up quickly)
Personality: Odyn is fun-loving, sweet, dedicated, a little clumsy on his feet, and ridiculously adorable. He definitely doesn't act his age.
Bio: Odyn spent most of his childhood hiding in strange corners of Magdia Castle, dreaming up exciting adventures, and trying not to admit that he is gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide (thank you, Good Omens). This made his teenage princely life rather difficult, and he dealt with it by continuing to act childish and silly. However, when he was seventeen, he met Mariye in a totally cliche field of flowers, and against the grim mutterings of his parents, asked her to marry him. He has no idea why he likes her so much, no idea that she is in actuality male, and is simultaneously trying to distance himself as well as get closer to him. And this is the short version.

Bio: She doesn't remember her past very well, or her parents since she woke up in her "Aunt's" House. her Aunt, who is a very rich business woman, saw the opportunity to get rid of Rain by sending her to this school. Rain's Aunt didn't like her very much because she was so unusual, having attacked several classmates at her old schools because of her "blood lust." Rain also had a huge crush on her only guy friend. One day she walked In on him and another girl kissing and that caused her to snap. The next thing she knew she was at home being yelled at for sever hours, being told that the girl she attacked was in the hospital in critical condition. Her guy friend never spoke to her again.

Bio: Born in Magdia City, he was raised buy his uncle Kioshi. His uncle was a skilled Martial Arts Master. Master Kioshi Trained Yoshi to be a skilled apprentice but was not sure about how well he Trained him. To find out this puzzling question Kioshi brought him to the beginning of the WasteLands. "Yoshi" Master Kioshi said "Yes uncle" he said. "This is the True test of becoming a Junior or even being able to move on with your training" he said with his back to Yoshi. "I doubt you could even last a week here with out me" kioshi said, "NO!" "YOUR WRONG!" Yoshi shouts. "If you doubt me so much than lets see if i really can do it.". Master Kioshi drops a Black katana case on the desert sand, with one small jug of watter about half way full. "This should be all you need for 1 week", Yoshi grabs the black katana with silver and blue lace from the ground and the half full watter jug. As he goes to pick up the jug he notice that the katana his uncle had thrown on the desert floor was his very own katana he got when he became a master of it using it. Shocked Yoshi grabs both katana and water jug and straps too his side, "Its been a long time since my Master brought me here" kioshi said as her turned to look at Yoshi. "It will be a hard task,....you need peace of mind and to me able to meditate when it gets to be to much." Kioshi said. "Walk 20 miles out, straight out. If you u tern to the left you will be eaten alive by Locus,.... if you turn right you will die from the intense heat of the sun." "When you have walked 20 miles out you must dig." Kioshi said. "Dig?" thought Yoshi. "Now go." . Yoshi walked up the hill to the start of the WasteLand. As he reached the top Master Kioshi Yelled "Yoshi you better come back. Because if you dont...am gonna rent your room out" said Kioshi as he walked away. Even though it was a joke Yoshi still had some thoughts if Master Kioshi would do it. "Crazzy old man, rent my room Ha!". It had been 14 hours since Yoshi had seen his uncle. It was still very hot even though it was night. Yoshi had only walked 5 Miles and most of the watter he had was still there. With only the moon to use as light he ran quickly and smoothly through the desert. He had ran 20 miles as he counted each step in his head. He saw a tree about 200 yards away. -3 Days Latter- It had bin 3 days since he entered the WasteLand. He did what Kioshi told him to do when he got there....Dig. He had a pit the size of a small village dug. "WHAT DO I ACCOMPLISH BUY DIGGING A HOLE THIS BIG!!!" Yoshi said. He sat down in the middle of his whole and took a small sip of the water he had left witch was not very much. As he sat and though he got up and ran over to the tree. He told him self "Dig Yoshi Dig!!". As he was digging he felt a hard object under him, he started to dig out the object witch made out to be a Black Chest. He dug it out and poped the top off with his katana, there was a note. It read "Yoshi if you find this you have passed the test to continue your training, but i have decided to become a Master at the southern temple of the Kespek mountains. I now this is a bad way to say good buy but i left you my katana and sent you on a mission i no you could have handled

I sent them all of your things so no point in running away from it. Weapon: Garrote(wire), A garrote is a handheld weapon, most often referring to a ligature of chain, rope, scarf, or wire used to strangle someone to death. She uses it like a puppets strings though much like Yura of the Hair inInuYaasha Episode #4. She cant control the wire andhopes here she can fully extendher powers.
Personality: Laela is a very interdependent. She never feels liek she can warmup to people and overly happy people actually freak her out a bit. She has a darker, more morbid sense of compassion and life andjust wants to find people that will beok with her.
Bio: Laela was the daughter of the lord of the Wester Vampire Clan. Literally s he WAS a princess, but no more. Both parents were slaughtered in front of her making her feellike she cant put too much heart in anyone thing. She was raisedin an orphanage fo a long time btu they never understood whys he aged so slow. she was shifted across orphanages for a very long time. she kept havingt o forge her birth year to be able to survive in the shelters. She had been taugthf rom a young age to use a garote and always used her wire. her parents could use wire in anyway imaginable to torture,kill, maime, etc. She has only learned some of the magical control and came here to learn more.

His shoes are blue ninja sandals. When he changes his personality his eyes change color. To his more aggressive personality he has red eyes, and when he turns into a flirt it becomes a beautiful shade of blue.

Strengths:He is efficient enough with his long katana, has moderate speed and strength. Cool and collective in his normal mode. His physical limit increases in his berserk mode.
Weaknesses: Changes modes randomly, his flirty mode always activates when he's around pretty women and his berserk mode he always looks for fights. Also whenever Akakage orders something he follows it no matter what mode he's in. He's also very clumsy.
Weapon: A long katana, about three quarter of his height, handed down to him by his father Musashi Miyamoto who is also the sensei of Akakage. It contrasts his attire by being a completely white blade with a white hilt and white sheath. The name of the sword is Masamune. Also proficient in most ninja weapons.
Personality:Depending on which mode he's in. Normal mode he is calm and collective. Boyish and idolizes Akakage. Berserk mode he is rash and instinctive. Wants to always spar against Akakage. Flirty mode is the weirdest one. Because it only instigates itself at pretty women he uses his charm and flirts with them. Wants Akakage to teach him better flirting techniques and surpass him in looks.
Bio:In the Miyamoto ninja clan, he is the son of the leader of the clan. The main reason he's joining the school is to train under his idol Akakage. His ulterior motive is to bring back Akakage to become the new leader of their clan.
Extra: His father was the one that trained Akakage to be a ninja. Akakage would of been the next leader if it weren't for his sisters death. Now inheriting the title of being next in line he went to search for his idol Akakage to become the next leader in his place. His split personality was caused when his mother died of illness when he was very young. He has the ability to create illusions which can either deceive his opponents or mentally scar them. He also has the ability of lightning manipulation but usually ends up shocking himself due to his his clumsyness.

Appearance: Tremon’s eyes are dark brown and very dull appearing though in the right instance, as when he is casting. They will seem to shine or glow almost hazel. His hair is also dark brown, somewhat long, with his bangs stopping just before his eyes.

Strengths: Tremon is very basic, if not a joke with a sword. And the same is to be said with most every other weapon. He has a book given by his parents, which contains spells for him, though he is somewhat proficient in magic, such as charms, potions and arcane spells he is far from perfecting his abilities.

Weaknesses: Tremon is clumsy, though he hates to admit it, he also tends to be irritated easily. His combat skills are poor, as he is not the most fit, physically, of people. Tremon is also one to be prone to panic as he cannot think in these situations. His powers also tend to give out at times and not work.

Weapon: Sword, and bow though he can hardly wield either. HE enforces his skill with magic.

Personality: Tremon is very stern emotionally, he does not tend to like large groups and can hardly control himself when confronted with those he finds irritating.

Bio: Tremon was raised by both his parents who saved up to send him to school. His mother taught him magic as did his father (rarely). As he became older, Tremon’s parents had made mention of a weaponry school, though Tremon found this a joke as he was not strong, nor was he proficient with a weapon. His father, a master of combat, had tried to teach him on numerous occasions though often it ended in Tremon’s collapse or injury. Thus when he was told what school he was attending there was much bickering ending with a shout from Tremon’s father which stated he could not remain behind his magic for all his life. He was weak, and needed to learn, not only how to be a man and a proper soldier, but to learn to become strong. So Tremon was soon upon school grounds, though extremely against his will.

Extra: Tremon has a book of spells though he can use few of the spells within he hopes to practice here and there on school grounds. His powers have a habit of giving out on him, though he is learning to stop that. He can use a wide variety of spells, such as charms, enchantments, curses, and arcane spell casting. He can also make potions though they are also not very strong.

Schedule

For now every student has the same schedule since the class is so small. Hopefully by next term we'll have enough students to where we can scramble it up a bit.

Teachers, you don't have to know about the subject so please don't try to actually teach a whole course... ^^;

*Weapons classes will be held during the four hours after academics*

Current Weapons Teams

Currently everyone is split up into two teams. Here are our current lists. During weapons training, for the whole week until the Survival Trip, Students will be working in these groups. Team 1 starts with Team A, and Team 2 with Team B, and then the students rotate, Team 1 going to Team B, and Team 2 going to Team A. They will then be split into smaller groups for the survival assignment. More info will be released on the survival assignment as it draws nearer.

Dorm Assignments

There are 2 students per room and 6 rooms per floor. These dorms may change as more students enter the school. Additional floors are on the school only for the purpose of dorms.

Teachers and Headmasters get their own private quarters.
