Overlord Makairo Ok, so the PW theme and use of MIDIs did not turn out the way I wanted it to. That's why you guys don't have any new Mak tracks to bump. Sorry about that. Anyway, I'm going to re-do the approach to this new mixtape of mine entirely. I'll be requesting instrumentals, real hard hitting hip-hop s**t. I'll be requesting collabs. If you got a mic, and it doesn't sound like you're being raped by a beaver while you spit, then let me know and we'll get to writing and recording. I want the vibe of this mixtape to be old school, early to mid 90s Hip-Hop. I want to throw my NY s**t onto this. Been listening to 36 Chambers recently. Anyway...give me advice and beats and songs! scream biggrin Who you gonna call call Durrty I've got s**t loads of ideas Mobb Deep instrumentals Quiet Storm Shook Ones pt2

That will set me up for a fairly high level of comparison, and I'd rather avoid that. Let's start from the bottom up. First track will be at most a minute or so long, obivously the intro with one straight verse. Find me beats that I can choose from that would be good for such a position.

The original Superman wasn't something I'd be interested in at all, so I'd rather avoid getting myself involved with that track or instrumental.
8 Mile Road is much better, but I wouldn't know what kind of vibe to give it. The original song happens to be one of my favorites. s**t was tough.
I've been thinking about scooping somebody up (probably Strife or Vedic) for a rendition of CREAM.
