So, I finally get around to working through Caverns of Time, mostly because I want the tank sword (Millennium Blade) that drops in BM. I free Thrall, then get a group for the next instance. We wipe a few times, and never manage to kill the last boss. So I try again a day or two later. This time we're successful, full clear, quest complete, but no tank sword. So, I try again. THIS time, we're about to fight the second boss (the one who drops my sword), when I get feared by a mob and fall through the ground o_O If that wasn't enough, it happens again a few days later.
Anyone else had similar glitches? Discuss.

It seems that a lot of bosses with fear components are fearing the players through the world. It's happened to me multiple times on Archimond. What's your characters race/gender?

This happens due to collision issues. Normal speeds it should be fine. You shouldn't be able to reproduce that type of bug, but since fear speeds your character up a little (I think) that's what causes this type of "out of the world" bug.
Extra speed ALWAYS ******** up collision, and due to Fear's random nature, it probably would've been pretty difficult for Blizzard to test that in every new area of TBC during its test cycle.

On the first boss, we got tossed in the air. Then hearthstoned.

That happened to me too (female NE rogue). XD It was on the pull RIGHT before the second boss. So I ran my a** back, we killed the second boss and proceeded to clear the instance.
That was a funny night though. We wiped the first time 'cause someone DCd. So we were waiting for Medivh to spawn again and someone went to grab their drink from downstairs. When they walk out of their bedroom their new puppy craps on the floor so we were like "omgwtf happened to Veki?!?" Then on that second attempt I fall through the world. Something else funky happened. o.O Can't remember what though.
