The Earth has been plagued by years for relentless battle. The Elemental wars between the Kingdoms over territory and other disputes have been going on for longer than a century, there is literally all new fighters added to the legions of warriors everyday. No Kingdom, Province, Village, City, Castle, Country is safe. Everyone is at war.
The starters of the war were the Fire and Darkness Kingdoms, they first began the struggle for territory seeing as they had smaller kingdoms. They also brought to light the minor problems in each of the other Kingdoms, thus blowing the minor problems into Major problems. They saught to take more land from the neighboring Kingdoms by force, and thus when they succeeded in gaining a bit more power, they wanted more. Thus began the War of the Continent. Every Kingdom fighting to keep what it had. Eventually more kingdoms wanted to expand Their own boundaries and that created fights bewteen everyone, so it wasn't fire and darkness against everyone. It is now Everyone, against Everyone else. Soon even Fire and Darkness' alliance fell apart and began trying to steal form one another.
Even in all the war, some kingdoms can still manage to form alliances which hold strong, and even some rebel fighters change sides and fight for the other teams. This is war, anything can happen.

The Lyte Kingdoms refer to the 4 Kingdoms in the West and South.
The Darke Kingdoms refer to the Kingdoms in the North and East.
The Lyte and Dark Aspects have nothing to do with what side you are on in the war it is not lyte Versus Darke. although there are a few gereally nicer kingdoms.

*Abilities: can remember anything, can has incredible leg muscles, allowing faster-than-normal running and jumping.

Bio: Thackey has lived with his grandparents since he was five. His parents were taken hostage by a Necromancing group from the Darkness kingdom. he vowed then to hone his abilities and find out what happened to his partents. When he became of age he joined the war, as a refugee, gathering allies as he goes, and creating a small army to help him with his quest.
Appearance: White hair with blue flitted throughout it, 6'5" tall, semi-muscular body, pale skin, wears a black and dark blue traveling cloak(think syaoran's cloak style).
Personality:He is set on his mission, and serious about its outcome, but otherwise likes to enjoy life even in times of war. hes quick to make friends usually and a tough fighter.

Personality: Dorothy is kind and patience. She is very quiet unless she gets mad. She has a very hot temper, which sometimes gets her into trouble.

Areas/Territories Pictures Taken from different Territories:::             Each kingdom is not made up of ONE town, with a castle, the above pictures were taken from all over the Kingdoms. The kingdoms act like countries, within each there are towns, cities and castle-towns (where the royalty of that particular kingdom resides). Each township and settlement follow the rule of their rulers. The Water kingdom is located on the water's edge of the continent in the west.(the world is a sphere like earth but it has only one HUGE continent and many small islands) It has strog warriors who would much rather stay the peacful people they are instead of fighting in the war, but it was forced upon them unless they wanted to lose their home. The Light Kingdom is found in the south. It consists of many settlements with the dome-style building structure being very popular. The light kingdom's inhabitants are the scientists and all around smart people, usually. Not everyone there is a genius, some are normal, but mainly it seems that it is a smart place because philosiphers, scientists,, and professors moved there for study as it also houses the largest library in the Kingdoms. The Air Kingdom is a floating island that is magically held in place above the exact center of the continent. Its people are fun-loving rebels. They joined the War willingly for the excitment. The Lightning Kingdom was settled just east of the Water Kingdom. very near the ocean. They are a powerful bunch of people who are willing to fight. Though their powerful and erratic elemt, they are avery well rounded and blanced society that has flourished even through the war. The Fire Kingdom is in the north, in the mountain ranges that border the norther edge of the continent. They excess of Volcanic activity keeps most of the mountains here snowless, though there are some snow-capped mountains. These people are vulgar warlike people who love to fight and show off their power. The Darkness kingdome is found on the direct eastern edge of the continent. With months of dark magic, shadow manipulation, and necromancing the kingdom shrowded itself in and eternal eclipse of the light. It is often called the Night Kingdom, and Eclipse Colony. its people are usually evil and deal in darke deeds. the Earth kingdom is located in the center of the continent, and much of the south. It's peopel are nice and friendly, but quick to judge, make the wrong impression and they may get vicious. This kingdom is surrounded by lush forests and a humid climate. The Rock Kingdom is found in the mountains, and it travel south east between the earth and Darkness Kingdoms stopping halfway through the continent. Its peopel are hard working citizens who are proud to defend their kingdom. {{{The Stereotypes i have listed are not manditory, their use is only for the townsfolk of the kingdoms, feel free to create your character based on your own preferences and to giev them any personalities. Thackery woke up before the sun rose. He left his grandparents a note, saying he had left to find his parents and take part in the war. it was a weird feeling jumping head first into a war, but it had to be done. He strongly believed his parents were still alive, the Necromancers of the eastern Dark kingdom oftern took hostages, and many times they were retrieved and alive. he could only hope that he would be so lucky.
When he reached the city's edge he took a boat and raced across the moat using the water in the dividing river (separating his town from the rest of the Continent) to propel him. It didn't take long befoe he was at the Water Kingdom and the Lightning Kingdom's edge. This would be the first time he'd ever left his kingdom, it was by lucky chance that he lived near the boundary. he proceeded in the dark of night, into the Lightning Kingdom, so far undetected...

In an alleyway(I'm assuming my kingdom had streets and alleys), Tai was in a fight with two rival gangs who had both chosen to try and kill him. He drew his Dragon Katan from its mount on his back, and lunged at a member of the first gang. Blood spouted forth as the man's head rolled from his shoulders. Tai grinned evilly. Outside of the alleyway, and all over the surrounding area, screams could be heard as the men were slaughtered.

Thackery continued to walk blindely through the new kingdom. he had never been any but the Water kingdom and it was a bit awe-inspiring. between the Water and Lightning Kingdoms there were fields and plain-like flora, just some trees shrube, and a few boulders decorated the scene as well.
This fact scared Thackery a bit, for if he was attacked there would be little to hide him.
He continued the walk silently through the night. His ferret, Mercy, began to move around anxiously in his back pack. Somethign was bothering him, whether a threat or hunger he couldn't tell yet. Thackery took out Mercy and gave him some food, thackfully he ate...but not as if he was hungry. Quickly grabbing Mercy and his bag he ran full out to the tallest tree he could see.
Not a moment too soon, for as he reached the denser part of the tree where the leaves hid him well, two Darkness soldiers appeared not too far away.

The soldiers stopped walking and settled beneeth the tre that Thackery was in.
"So do you think any Water Kingdom whimps will try to escape through here? I mean who'd be that dumb, there's no where to hide out here?" said one of the soliders, he was bulky with muscle.
"Well you never know, but we were told to come patrol out here," said a female solider, she was pretty, with delicate featurews, and jet black hair. he was wearing a long, flowing, black cloak. "Just be quiet and go check over there!" she commanded the other one. She was obviously in charge because the other one did as he was told without retort.
The female Soildier sat down and covered herself in her cloak. she had laid it down on top of her and put her head in the hood. she was completely blind now, but there was no chance that she wouldn't hear him iof he moved.

Tai walked out of the alleyway, his Dragon Katana now dripping with blood. He grinned evilly as he looked around for someone else to kill. As he roamed the empty streets, he let the blade of his katana rest on his right shoulder.

Ada was outside talking a walk. Ever since the war started she stayed inside her home most of the time. Artimus was with her and started to sniff around. He stopped and motioned for her to stop too. She looked around and saw a man with a blood stained sword.

Tai grinned as he looked towards Ada. He lowered the blade and began walking towards her. The blood began to drip from his sword. He continued walking towards her, keeping a steadilly slow pace to add to the eeriness of the night.

The woman sat beneath him, still as stone, for a moment he thought she'd died, but quickly brushed the idea away. People dont just lay down and die. Still she sat completely unmoving until her partner returned. and she only moved when he addrerssed her.
"Madam Viliflix?" he said quietly, apparently this was not normal behavior.
Her body went from perfect statuesque to standing with her cloak on in less than a second.
"Did you find anything, Roland?" she asked in a dreamy voice, that sounded oddly serene.
"No, no one is prowling tonight, just as we thought." the two began walking, him in front of her.
before answering him, she turned her head, and looked up into the tree that Thackery sat, their eyes met, she smiled eerily and then turned, "Well we'll just have to report nothing...out of the ordinary."
