Only comp game I have is Knights of the Old Republic. I'm tempted to start picking up some more computer games. However, I hate playing with a keyboard. Any good comp controllers? And how do you set that up with a game? I love fps, I have no interest in playing any mulitplayer online games, or playing online with games like Halo. I have a Windows Xp. I know nothing about my comptuer past that. My dad found my comp in a warehouse and went Dr. Frankenstine on it. Should I bother to get some pc games or should I stick with my consol gaming? Advice? (figured I'd ask the experts)

Well..PC gaming..is usually a mouse and keyboard. The only reason you would pick up a controller is for ROMs and sport games. I mean the PC is the holy grail of shooters and RTS. A good comp controller is the one that begins with the J. (Can't remember the name..) It shows in the installation and the game where it says joystick..and controller port thing under the control panel section. And you can actually set up some games with the controller by going into options, controls..>>; Anyways a great FPS is the Half-Life 2, episode 1 and 2. Mods help with that game very well. Or even my personal favorite Dues EX. Soo...yea..or even GTA: Vice City is great too.

I'd just stick with the keyboard since most PC games are built to take advantage of it...

Keyboard's the reason why i've never picked up any comp game other than Knights of the Old Republic, & tht was just cause it only used the mouse.

Autoaim...is some FPS or Third person shooters use when the player doesn't want to aim. You basically, jump and crouch the aiming thingy doesn't move and shoot the person with precise aiming. Usually..I use autoaim if I need to get use to the controls..Or when I don't want to aim.

But I have no interest in 2 or 3), Quake 4, Doom 3, Prey, Half-Life 2, Battlefieled 2142. I'm almost 100% sure all of those are compatible with my comp (windows XP). & I will never play online so...
