1. Story ((Disclaimer, this rp is based on the game known as Tales of Symphonia and its story. Do not post about this in the RP because I made the RP, I know.))Long ago, The worlds known as Sylvarant and Tethe'alla were separated by the half-elf Mithos Yggdrasil, the man that created the force known as Cruxis. Cruxis was a group of belived angels that coveted the Great Seed, the only hope for two worlds reuntiting. Cruxis was struck down by Lloyd Irving, a child to one of the Seraphim of Cruxis. He led his friends to victory and reunited the world, then went on a quest to destroy Ex Spheres, a parasitic stone that gives great power to the users, but failed to get them all. Now a new force is using the remainders to conquer the world. The elves are leaving their forest for once in a millennia, the war is growing. The humans are mounting an offense, the world is in termoil. Soon a war will loose itself on the world, leaving hundreds dead, unless Cruxis is stopped. Who will rise against them? Who will come to the aid of Cruxis? You decide.

PM me profiles, I respect the right to refuse entry 7. Put domokun in the PM for your profile, to show you read the rules. 8. No Godmodding 9. No auto-hitting 10. Use (( )) or ooc: for OOC or Out Of Context. 11. Do not kill other characters unless they agree to it. 12. Refer to thy self in the third person, meaning no "I did this", its "Harry did this." 13. Ok, I will allow up to a week of no posts before your character is dead. The RP will move on without you. Unless I have notice of the absence, then your charater will be dead to us. 14. Rules are subject to change, so keep track of them. New battle system! Ok, I know that all techs are not able to be used from the beginning. Only those in parethesis are able to be used from the start. Here is our newly created battle system: Roll a ten sided dice. 1- You not only miss, but you hurt yourself in the process. 2- You miss and drop you eapon in the process of the action 3- You miss and put your self in a vulnerable position. 4- You miss. 5- You almost miss, causing minimal damage. 6- You hit, doing damage. 7- You hit a semi-vital area, dealing a large amount of damage. 8- You hit a vital area, causing critical damage. 9- You hit a vital area, causing instant K.O. 10- (only on NPC's will this count) You hit the heart or brain directly, killing them instantly. Leveling is important, as it will get you more techs. 200 exp is needed for a level up. A victory in a friendly fight with someone from your faction is worth ten. A victory over an Npc is worth fifteen. A victory against an enemy player controlled character is worth 20. Profile Skeletons
(Please read all of this. It is important. It may seem like a lot, but it really isn't. Just think of the time I took to type it all out before you say, "Well, I'm not reading this." It is important, or I wouldn't have wasted two hours of my life to make sure it all came out right.)
In this RP, Characters born in certain places can have special looks. Case in point, Mizuhoans look like ninjas. Dwarven and Elvish characters have special clothing and must have a picture to show as such. Do not go overboard, I do not want every hero to be from Mizuho. Here is a list of cities to be born from:
Mizuho- Long ago, ancient ninjas formed this village when they made their own clan. It is a small town, it keeps its design from the feudal ages. It is renouned for its spies and for its information netowrk.
Palmacosta- Palmacosta was once the major city of Sylvarant when the worlds were two. It was destroyed one by a corrupted version of the Great Kharlan Tree, the tree that currently sustains the world with its infinite mana. It has been restored to its former grandure and stands as a monument to the will of the people in this world. It is a costal town and a port and created the first steamship. It also has a renouned school known as the Palmacosta Academy.
Ozette- A town destroyed by the orginal Cruxis. It is in the middle of a forest and is built on giant trees, it does so without destroying the trees, a true marvel of nature. It is the only place on the planet that has sacred wood, a type of wood that burns at an extremely high temperature, hot enough to melt solid steel.
Triet- A desert town founded on an oasis. It is known for its marketplace, which is large and has a variety of goods for sale at all times. Its sands are fine and are notorious for causing infections in cuts. Nearby are the fire ruins, in which the spirit of fire, Efreet, is known to be found.
Sybak- The educational capital of the world, Sybak is nothing but giant university. It is renouned for its research facility and its library. The library is home to every book in the entire world, its scope is more than equal to the famous Library of Alexandria of our world in real life. This town is also famous for its cafeteria that offers every recipe ever concieved.
Hima- Hima is a mining town, its iron is used by many weapon forgers in their crafting of blades and Chakrams. It has a dragon riding service that is willing to take you for an overview of the ruins of the Tower of Salvation, a tower that was used by Cruxis to take the chosen to Derris-Kharlan. It is located on a mountain that once offered a scenic view of the tower. There are few homes and remnants of a small cemetary.
Luin, The City of Water. - Luin was destroyed by the Desians long ago, a group that once served Cruxis and did their bidding. Luin was eventually restored and is now a hub for much of the trading. It also has a small harbor, being in the middle of a lake. It has a river that leaks into the ocean, bringing in cargo of all sorts. It is known for its famous statues of the heros as well, it is the only place that has original statues of them.
Flanoir- Flanoir is a town located in the arctic regoin of the Tethe'alla section of the world. It is covered in snow year round and the ice spirit Celcius is nearby. Flanoir is large and has the best doctor in the world. It is also renouned for its church and its ice sculptures.
Heimdall (elves only)- A town located in the beautiful Ymir Forest, known for the Ymir fruit, which can heal any and all illnesses. Heimdall is home to the elves and is restricted to all others. The town guards the Torrent Forest, Home to the king of all spirits Origin. The town was destroyed by the pieces of the Tower of Salvation during its destruction. Heimdall was rebuilt the exact way it was before, completely lumber and has a small river that runs through the middle of the town. It is a marvel of nature.
Angels can be from these towns, since Derris-Kharlan is now out in orbit somewhere. Angels can be older than the heros, but not out side of four hundred years, I do not want a 30,000 year old angel that looks 10 years old. By the way, angels are not actually angels, they are half-elves enhanced with Cruxis Crystals, so that means no immortalitly crap. Half elves can serve either alliance as well. Elves can learn to summon spirits, but you can't have him summon a spirit without talking to the spirit first to form a pact and the spirit can then only be summoned by that character.

When he was caught trying to commit suicide by the clan leader, his leader set him on a quest against Cruxis, essentially saving his life. He does this mission with a fervor that he has never done anything wth before. Personality: Kind, has a good sense of humor. He can be very sarcastic. He has no memory of his birth, or where he was accually born. He remembers most of his childhood, which was mostly fighting against monsters in thw wilderness, and trained by a strange swordsman... Personality: Somewhat comedic, but 80% of the time he is chivalrous. Appearance: He has white, short hair, and wears a blue breastplate, with a tunic underneath, blue gauntlets, greaves, and boots. He has a longsword and a shield on his sides.

She was apprenticed to him and learned things from her master. Eventually, things started going awry and the town grew wary of travelers. One of her greatest joys is to sneak a dragon away from the service her parents used to run and go for joy rides. Personality: As a deeply independent person, Dahlia hates relying on other people for assistance. Upon first meeting people, Dahlia is wary but considerate, a trait her town disapproves of. After time she warms up to people and becomes more open. Her hero is the master who took her in and she would die to protect his honor. Respect is very important with her, and she treats others as she would like to be treated. She is not a very forgiving person. Bio: Born in Heimdall, Lania grew up as a rather secluded elf. She did not enjoy interacting with others and kept to herself. Over the years she acquired enchanted jewelry, which she never takes off. She has sided with the Cruxis for personal reasons. After doing so, she alienated herself from the hometown she grew up in. Most elves from Heimdall have, deep within their hearts, a fear of Lania for she was one of the strongest elves to ever grace their town.
Personality: Her appearance is very misleading. Lania is a very cold person, who will use any means necessary to get what she wants. Her feminine and defenseless appearance only throws off her enemies. She has a very gentle demeanor, which is contradicted by her violent motives.

A calm forest, a gentle breeze blows through the air. A squirrel jumps from a tree and scurries into a bush. It stops, its ears perk up. It runs up the tree and looks around the tree. A shadow falls over the bush, a gentle breeze blows through the air again. Shane stepped forward, the squirrel fell from the tree, his body limp. A needle was protruding from the body, the squirrel's heart punctured. Shane picked up the squirrel, it was dinner now. He sat down and started to make a fire. A spark and the tinder caught fire. He skinned the squirrel in minutes and began to cook it, making a wooden rotisserie. It was seasoned with a some herbs from the forest, it was going to be delicious.

He ignores it. He continues to spin the squirrel on the rotisserie. He smelled it, it smelled lemony and delicious. He then swithches the direction of the squirrel on the fire, its the way he always made rotisserie. He saw some berries growing on the bushes nearby, they would make a healthy snack later. He wanted to finish the squirrel first though, it would only be another five minutes.
