This is the place to post what you thought about Deathly Hallows.
My Review:
I loved it. Simple as that. Everything came together and made sense (to me, anyway.). Sure, we didn't get the ship we wanted, but still, I think I've gotten to like the H/G ship (Although I still support H/HR, don't get me wrong.). While we're here, let's also take a moment of silence for the ones who died. R.I.P... (I believe I may have missed a few...)
- Tonks and Remus Lupin
- Alastor (Mad-Eye ) Moody
- Ted Tonks
- Fred Weasley
- Hedwig
- Severus Snape
- Dobby
- George Weasley's Ear
Simply put, I LOVED this book. Many people hated the Epilogue, but I thought it was a great way end the story. The ending does leave question for another series. All I know is, I'll be waiting in line at midnight to get my copy of "Albus Potter" IF it is released.

It was decent. I hated the pairing writing. She's needs to stay away from that, but otherwise it was a good book. I'll go into further detail later promise, but I have to go.
Edit: I liked the book. The plot was pretty good. The romance was completely horrible and I will never like R/Hr or H/G ever. I did think it was a little unnecessary to kill both Remus AND Tonks, but again it could've been worse. I didn't like how JKR rewrote Hermione's character or Ron's for that matter. They became too different. The epilogue killed the book for me a bit. It was good sure, but I still didn't like the fic-ish sense of it. Oh, that poor child to be named Albus Severus...do they know what they're sentencing him too. I get the reasoning, but still. If you ask me out of all the books though this one was the weakest of her writing. Her strongest being in the fifth book and then it started to decline in strength after that. I may read it again, but like the 6th book I didn't like as much as the first five written.

I loved the book so all's well that ends well.

Ted Tonks didn't die did he? He was who the Potter boys were talking about at the end I believe -- with Victoire.

Ted Tonks is Tonks's dad. Teddy Lupin is Remus and Tonk's kid.

Twas a nice book. It REALLY got my heart pumping at times. It made me so anxious that I refused to read ahead until a few days later. It's the best.. I guess. =/ The overall plot was really something incredible though the outcome was something I cried about.
I shed tears when Dobby was buried.. *sniff* That was such a hreatbreaking moment!
All in all, the book really was great. It just didn't float my boat.. or should I say: it just didn't float our ship?
Oh well. I've learned to accept that Harmony will never happen. Thank goodness that there are still fanfiction.

Haven't read the book and don't plan to anytime in the future according to the many detailed spoilers and reviews. If I did read it, I'd probably say it was one of the weakest books next to HBP. Too many plot holes, loop holes, and contradictions for an enjoyable read.

It was okay. It was better than I expected. Sure, the romance sucked but except for the crapilogue and r/hr and h/g horrilbe moments...it was okay.

I agree, it was a good book if you ignore the epilogue.

I'm going to have to side with CloudedMemories on it. It was just so... anticlimactic? I expected it to be way more, exciting. neutral

Blah....it wasn't that great. She killed unecessary characters that didn't need to die, went too quick on the 6th one with the whole H/G thing and you didn't see it coming in the 7th one. And although she made it clear during their camping out with Ron hallucinating about H/Hr that they were never going to happen, I still believe an H/Hr could have happened. Yes, I may be biased, but that's just my H/Hr love talking. I personally liked the 3rd and 5th book the best.
