I'm not sure if this should be stickied or not. neutral Anyways, this is a list of conventions that are confirmed to have Artists Alleys, plus where/when they are and how much the tables cost. I only know about a few conventions and they're all in the U.S., so please add on!

Anime Expo
Los-Angeles, California, USA
http://Anime-Expo.org
2009 date TBA
Table Cost: $50 for whole table, $25 for half table.
Other: Though they usually give the option for half tables, in Long Beach the Fire Marshal insisted that there be no more than two people behind a table, so they only sold full. The L.A. Fire Marshal might do the same. Additionally, they require a 4-day-pass in order for you to get a table, so that's an additional $50.

Fanime
San Jose, California, USA
http://fanime.com
May 22nd-25th, 2009
Table Cost: $10
Other: 4-day pass required!

JapanTown Anime Faire
San Fransisco, CA, USA
http://groups.google.com/group/project760events?hl=en
No 2008 date?
Table Cost: $50
Other: Apparently, the convention isn't in JapanTown anymore, they just didn't want any confusion. I wouldn't recommend this con. It's a dinky, badly run convention that only a handful of people go to, and they way overcharge. If you want to test the waters at a small convention, I guess you might try but otherwise avoid it.

SakuraCon
Seattle, WA, USA
http://Sakuracon.org
April 10th-12th, 2009
Table Cost: Full Table: $70, Half table: $40 (2008 prices. Don't know if 2009 will be the same)
Other: Seems a little pricey to me, but maybe it's really worth it? A bit of a review from someone who's been would help.

Otakon
Baltimore, MD, USA
http://www.otakon.com/
July 17th-19th, 2009
Table Cost: $70-$75
Other: Once again, seems pricey but I've never been to the con. Same goes for this, if you've been could you give a small review?

I'll contribute some of my stomping-grounds. smile

Anime Iowa
Coralville, IA, USA
http://www.animeiowa.com/
August 15-17, 2008 (typically mid-august)
Table Cost: $50 for the whole table; no splitting options
Other: Registration for the con is not included in the table fee, so that's an additional charge; this year they started allowing you to register for both at the same time. It's easy to share between two artists/studios when registering, you just need to know who you're splitting with and sign up on the same form. They have several additional services (electricity, phone) that you can get for an additional fee.

Ohayocon
Columbus, OH, USA
http://www.ohayocon.com
January 30- February 1st, 2009
Table Cost: $75 for one table + 2 pre-registrations
Other: The tables are located in a big, wide-open space; last year it was outside main programming, the year before they were outside the dealer's room. (The alley didn't move, the dealer's room did.) There aren't any actual hours for it since it's out in the open, and you have to do a full tear-down every night if you don't want anything walked off with.

Anime Detour
Bloomington, MN, USA (suburb of Minneapolis)
http://www.animedetour.com
April 3-5, 2009 (has been in March in the past)
Table Cost: $25
Other: Registration isn't included in the table price; if it's the same as last year, power can be tricky to find, and the table arrangement is all first-come first-serve rather than having assigned tables. Partial tear-down is a good idea, since the room isn't fully secured and has historically also doubled as a staging area for the cosplay competition. PREREGISTER FOR THIS ONE. They have a reg cap and turned people away last year.

No Brand Con
Eau Claire, WI, USA
http://www.nobrandcon.com
April 24-26, 2009
Table Cost: $5/day
Other: Tiny con, but I love it--it's much more friendly and intimate than a lot of the bigger ones, and I do as good on sales at this one as I do on most mid-sized conventions. Registration is cheap too. Alley is located in a hallway outside the dealer's room; if you need wireless internet, request a table closer to the dealer's room (out on the edges it turns into the "internet black hole," as we discovered last year). Electricity is free as long as you have a table near an outlet.

Anime Central
Chicago, IL, USA (actually a suburb but who cares)
http://www.acen.org
May 8-10, 2009
Table Cost: $50
Other: Biggest midwest convention; the artist's alley at this one is HUGE and does get locked down at night, so you can leave it set up. Table cost doesn't include badges; you need to register both at the same time or let them know you already preregistered so you can do your badge pick-up in the alley.

http://www.chibipa.com/

Otakuthon
Center of congress, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
http://www.otakuthon.com/
July 31- August 2 2009
Pre-Reg. Rates: $30
Tables: 15$-20$ depending on size in 2007
Other: It's a relativly small con with maybe 1k to 2k people each year, it's otakuthon's 3rd year this year and it's growing pretty fast.

I've added more cons to my list... >.<

Kakkoi-con
Minneapolis, MN, USA
http://www.kakkoicon.com/
August 1-3, 2008 (Will not be taking place in 2009)
Table Cost: $20 for just a booth, or $75 for a booth plus two badges
Other: Not much to say about this one yet, since it's a new con... I know a few people working on this one and the'yre working really hard at it, so hopefully they'll put on a good show.

Fallcon
St Paul, MN, USA
http://fallcon.mncba.com/
October 10 & 11, 2009
Table Cost: Free
Other: It's NOT an anime con, it's a comic convention. So if you're a comic artist and there's a space available (good chance, they're moving to a bigger location this year), it's a good place for exposure. Tables for creators are free, admission for creators is free, food on both days is free, the Saturday night steak dinner is free, and the networking is kickass. The money was pretty weak for me last year (the organizers like manga-style comics but the attendees are still somewhat lukewarm on the idea), but hey, it was FREE.

Anime Nebraskon
Lincoln, NE, USA
http://www.animenebraskon.com/
Nov. 6-8, 2009
Table Cost: Not sure, can't find it on the website
Other: It's on the college campus in Lincoln, and it's a really fun little con. The Alley was well looked-after last year, and we told them we appreciated their attention. I loved small cons!

Naka-kon
Kansas City, MO, USA
http://naka-kon.com/
March 13th-15th, 2009
Table Cost: I don't remember ^^;;
Other: This one went fairly well (and the hotel was beautiful), but being a case of "Artists' Alley in the Dealer Room" sales did suffer a bit. Not sure if they'll change this for next year.

Youmacon
Dearborne, MI, USA
http://www.youmacon.com/
October 29-November 1, 2009 (yes, that's 4 days... there's apparently free Thursday evening programming)
Table Cost: Um... I think I paid $25 for the table? No admission included.
Other: I've never been to this one, but they've got a guest my roommate and I want to see, so that convinced us to go. Apparently, it's the second-largest Midwest con (after Acen) and has a 24-hour style Alley. And it's going to be a very. Long. Drive. (Mod edit on Vice's behalf: Apparently, they're screwing artists out of their tables. Beware.)

Aaaand... I think that's all for now.

Neko-con
Hampton Roads, VA, USA
http://www.nekocon.com
November 6-8, 2009
Table Cost: $50 per table
Other: The con has been around for quite a while and seems to be pretty well run. The AA head was very responsive to emails, and responded within 24-48 hours. Registration for the AA just opened the first week of July, so there still may be tables, though no confirmations have gone out as far as I'm aware.

Katsucon
Arlington, VA, USA (specifically Crystal City)
http://www.katsucon.org
February 13-15, 2009
Table Cost: No info for 2009, but 2008 was about $50 per table
Other: Only thing to be aware of is that the AA staff sometimes seem to be unresponsive pre-con for weeks at a time (summer mostly, which isn't that much of an issue), and, at least last year, while the AA was open 24 hours, the staff packed up at 9pm each night. This may change for this year, but it's so far in the future that nothing's in stone yet. ^^ Plus, there's always someone on call for major issues, so *generally* you're covered.

Just a note, I've gone ahead and updated everyone's posts to reflect upcoming dates rather than past dates.

Animeland Wasabi
Denver, CO USA
http://animewasabi.com
March 27-29 2009
Table cost: $75 (includes one 3-day badge worth $35, so the table itself is really $40)
Other: space is very limited and is likely to be out by now... but there's always next year, and if you're in Colorado and want to go to a con in the spring, this is the one for you!

Nan Desu Kan
Denver, CO USA
http://ndkdenver.org
