Does anyone here work with some clay?
I've been trying to get into some clay stuff, just stuff to mold and then stick in the oven and paint and stuff.
Anyone do this? I don't really know what kind of brands I should be looking into.

I've been meaning to ask what my friend uses, but I can't seem to get ahold of her.
She uses much glossier paint that I would(cause I don't have it :B ), but any idea on clay?

Two little things of hers:

She made me these about two years ago:

She usually makes different little jewelery like earrings, she had a selling journal, but she deleted it. sad

So, if you know anything about different clays, please share.
Or show pictures/talk about of clay things you may have done in the past.
Or anything clay related, even that shotty clay bowl you made your mother in sixth grade. Yeah, I know about that!

I had to work with clay (though I should have used wood) for this one project...I used Sculpey Clay. You just mold it and stick it into the oven and then paint it. The good thing about Sculpey is that it NEVER dries out.

I've worked with clay before but that was in school, and we didn't spend too much time on it sadly D;
I love the eskimo <3
Wish I could be of more help.

Thanks 3nodding
I was talking to my friend and that both Fimo and Sculpey were both good, but I ended up going with Sculpey. surprised (Cause thats the only one they had at Walmart rofl )
Once I finish my lunch I'm off to make my first creation, even though I haven't exactly decided what yet.. then cook and paint! biggrin
