Well, here is your typical thread where you the members may suggest to us the Mods new and exciting ideas to better the guild! We have some more banners coming, and we're playing with the different kinds of sub-forums to add. Please feel free to make suggestions small and large. From contests to home page designs, let your creativity OUT!

The most common contest I know of is a banner contest. Or just a sticky for people to share their banners. A variation of the banner contest would be an art contest or something I suppose.
Um...maybe another contest more guild specific would be something along the lines of how a member defeated an obnoxious idiot in a arguement or something. You moderators could vote for the winner.
sweatdrop I'll try to come up with some better ideas.

How about a contest to get the guild more attention? We have a topic where everyone who has joined tells how they find the guild (obviously from the mods can't count on this one-they have more connections). Or we have all the members in a poll and you check who invited you (work w/ me here), that way you only got to do it once. After a certain time period or maybe a member limit, a winner is announced. Any thoughts?

I think eowyn-Rose/Wyrmyn is just talking about ways to complete the contest successfully.

Yeah! exactly. Though a banner contest would be awesome too. I love banners. Now I wish I could just make them. Of course, we could make it so that we all made banners for the guild and voted on them and the one we like the best also gets to have their banner be our alt banner?

What about debates? Get 2 or more people to argue/discuss a topic then after a while it is ended and everyone not involved in the debate votes on who they believe presented the best arguement. One with the most votes win.

Shoot em up kid I think someone should go recruiting in the ED I posted a bit in the extended discussion forum so that people would see the banner, but that place scares me a bit. I'm really not sure why, it just does.

Maybe each subforum (exception of the crew sub I gues...) could have mini contests for that aprticular area. And in each area non-contestants vote for the winner. For writing I suppose it'd be a creative writing contest, maybe the art forum ould have two seperate contests. One for photgraphy and one for art. Not sure what the contests for movies and music would be though...
