Welcome to the Heart of the Dragon’s Forest. This RP started randomly in another thread at about five a.m. in the morning (For me at least) This is a simple fantasy RP, but it has expectations, so please read the rules and guidelines. The ‘Lists’ post is for the White List, the Black List, and The Regulars List. I’m hoping this roleplay will last.

General Rules:
1. Seeing as Common Sense is somehow rare these days, this is the first rule:
FOLLOW GAIAS TERMS OF SERVICE
2. NO BUMPING. This really gets on my bad side. This is a roleplaying thread, and bumping is NOT necessary. You bump, you’re blacklisted automatically.
3. NO PAGE STRETCHING. Another pet peeve. If someone page stretches, do NOT quote them.
4. Keep OOC to a minimum. If your OOC chat starts to overtake your roleplaying posts, use the PM system.
Roleplaying Rules:
***While I have no problems with Kougaloveless's rules, these are the general guidelines any rp ought to follow. I also fear many may not have read Kougaloveless's well thought out list. These are basically nothing more than a REPEAT of what Kougaloveless wrote, and further enforced in this RPG.
1.All of your writing will be original, and none of your characters will be 'ripped off' of any characters that are in literature and/or movies (I.E. Squall Lionheart and Lestat de Lioncourt will not be joining us). Because, let's face it, it's more fun with original characters!
2. While I dont expect everyone to write novel length responses, I do expect a little more effort than, "Hello everyone!" Try, instead, 'Johnny Doe walked in with a smile, waving and calling "Hello everyone!" before taking a seat on the bench. Its longer, and gives us a little more to work with.
3. All of your posts will be written in past tense (I.E. Alyssa Stantasi walked into the pub and looked around suspiciously).
This will not be accepted: Alyssa Stantasi walks into the pub.
4. All of your posts should be grammatically correct and spell checked. I don't care if you use British spelling or American; I use a bit of both myself. Just make sure that you spell it correctly. Also, I demand correct punctuation, as well.
I, do not, want to see. punctuation or spelling, being used like, this. If I do, I will ask you to be more careful. Repeated disregard of these rules will result in a blacklisting and a removal of your character.
5. You will never, I repeat never godmode in this RPG. For those of you who don't know what godmoding is, I shall tell you.
In my years of roleplaying, I have seen godmoding described in two ways:
A) Having an 'uber' character who is overly powerful, and absolutely rules the combat zone. If your character is a master at every form of combat there has ever been, is the fastest person on the planet, the most intelligent person who ever lived, and their hair is never displaced while performing a triple flip on the tip of a ship's mast and juggling one handed... well, let's just say we need to discuss some things. Not only is this a character who will be an uberly powerful godmoder, they are also what is called a Mary Sue (Or Larry Stu). I will cover that in the next rule. Not even Misake and Matthias are this bad :/
B) Controlling another person's character without their permission is a no-no. This is the other type of godmoding, and is the most common kind. If you absolutely have to control another person's character, make sure that you have talked it over with them, and state so in your post. Otherwise, there will be disciplinary action taken against you. We do not look kindly on godmoders, because it is cheating. This rule is in effect to ensure that people do not kill other characters without the permission of the character's owner.
An example of godmoding:
Alyssa glared at Kazuil, and suddenly punched him in the nose, sending him flying across the room into the back of the bar.
Once again, I repeat: No! The correct way this should have been written is:
Alyssa glared at Kazuil, and sent her fist flying at him. She hoped it would connect, because she was just aching to wring this blighter's neck!
Now that that has happened, Kazuil gets to decide if the punch connects, and he will decide if it sends him flying across the room, or if it just knocks him down. Then, he has a chance to retaliate in the same manner, allowing Alyssa room to decide how she will react in turn.
C) Clairvoyance. Now, when you read a persons post, you obviously know what their character is thinking. BUT YOUR CHARACTER DOES NOT. Responding to a characters thoughts is a no-no. Unless your character possesses a mind reading ability, this won't be happening. And since I like keeping my thoughts mine, I wont be allowing any such characters anyway. So watch for this.
6.There will be no Mary Sues or Larry Stus in this RPG. A Mary Sue is a character who is practically perfect in every way. Ever character must have weaknesses. For example, most Pirates have a weakness for rum. Give them rum and many of them are reduced to blubbering piles of mush on your kitchen floor. No one is perfect in real life, and no one is perfect here, either.
7. Along with the Mary Sue, all Drama Queens and Kings will be promptly laughed out of the forum. Even though everyone has something wrong in their lives, they also have good things going for them, too. Therefore, you shall not be permitted to submit a character who's girlfriend left him for his best friend and ran over his dog as they drove away in his pickup to race the train in the pouring rain, which was consequently bringing his mother back from prison. No, this does not happen in real life; it only happens in Country Songs. (And in Giveaway threads LMAO!!) Unless I wish to bring a character like that in specifically for a few laughs, we will have no characters like this.
8. This is not an Instant Messenger program, therefore chatspeak will not be allowed in at any time including OOC.
9. If you have to write something in an RP post that is Out of Character, please specify that it is OOC by either writing"

As long as your message is pertaining to the topic in some way. You will not carry on conversations in OOC notes in the middle of an RP thread.
10.Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Be courteous and do not flame members, godmode their characters, or tell them that their writing 'sucks.' this is also a no-no, and you will be punished for such conduct.
11. ROMANCE is permitted. Straight or gay, I don’t care. But remember PG-13. It starts getting graphic and its an autoblacklist.
12. Have fun! These rules are very easy to follow, and if everyone reads them carefully and follows them, we should all have a good quality RPG!

This RPG is a battle for Earth, all centering around a single forest. This Forest is the Center of the Earth, the core and lifeblood of her magic. The Heart, where Misaki’s den lies, is the single most pure part of the planet. The Forest was Guarded by Elves, Vampires, and Werewolves. Misaki served as a peacekeeper, making sure the Guardians didn’t argue among themselves. He served as a neutral force between their parties. He could never leave the Forest, for to do so would kill them both. The Heart was the place where all ambitious Demons aimed. Should the Demons gain control of the Heart, the Forest would fall forever. Misaki knew one day it would come to an all out battle for the Forest, but he never thought it would come so soon.
A Demon Lord named Domicio hired an assassin to kill the Vampire Queen. This murder was pinned on the Werewolves, and now the two Immortals raged in a battle royale Misaki has no time to stop. For thanks to this dissension a great gap was made in the Forest’s defenses. Lesser demons and darker creatures flooded through, and soon the Elves became overwhelmed by greater demons trying to get past their barricades.
Meanwhile the son of the man hired to kill the Vampire Queen has been drugged by Misaki’s servant, the Werewolf Shinto, and brought to him for reasons still unknown, much to the dragon and the human child’s confusion. An Vampire Lord named Matthias assists to the human and Misaki as they try to come up with a plan to stop this before the Forest becomes to tainted to save. Together they need to find enough allies to stop the battle royale and cleanse the forest. Then wage an offensive attack upon the demons to vanquish them once and for all.
Note: I am not going to play Misaki for the majority of this RPG. I will bring him in now and again when he is needed. For the most part I shall be playing as Matthias.

Vowing vengeance not upon Rosalini, but the people who hired the hunter, Matthias turned to his Uncle Orion for guidance. Orion, a skilled hunter, taught Matthias the ways of the sly, the ways of the one working behind the scenes, the dirty workers. Once Matthias knew all Orion was willing to teach, it was the noble Jaedyn's turn. All the eldest Vonderguard knew about anything from general police procedures to forensics was swallowed swiftly. Next, Rayorin taught his son all he knew about weapons and animal ken. Truly as well equipped as he could be, Matthias began his quest. On his journey to find Rosalini, in order to learn who had hired him, and thus begin his true quest, Matthias learned the truth of his heritage as a Vampire. He also found that only one blood would serve. While any animal would serve, only a predator, such as a wolf or cougar, could truly quench. And only the blood of a murderer could make him weak with frenzy. Intrigued, the young Vampire spoke to his Uncle Hathard, who explained the history of the Ventrue yet again, this time including the Blood ######. Her father was a sword wielder and her mother used to stay at home looking after the family by cooking, cleaning, washing etc. Because Krystal had wanted to become a swords-woman she'd secretly practice her skills with her fathers swords from the shop. Until one day she was caught by one of the village elders. She was casted out by the village and she has never returned. Krystal had to survive for herself for over a month until she got picked up by a bounty hunter named Kith-Kanan. He was the previous owner of Yuki, Kith-Kanan treated her like his own daughter and taught Krystal everything he knew until she surpassed him. Kith-Kanan was her only family but he had died from he last bounty battle. He gave Yuki to Krystal so Yuki could look after her. From the moment after he had died, she had decided to continue in his tracks and taking over his bounties. Through her travels, she has met many people and creatures and contained very few companions to count on when the time comes.
