A True Lovesong: SasuxHina-ish

PROLOUGE:
My name is Ai Lu, you could say I'm a bit like Hinata from the series Naruto... I'm kind of shy, especially around--well the opposite gender. I'm pretty light skinned, with long black hair and short bangs. A style similar to Hinata's but not really, and I always wear baggy clothes. Tight clothes make me feel self-concious. My culture is half Japanese and half Chinese, my dad being the Chinese. I've always had a deep passion for anime and manga, I've been into it since I was about 5. My first anime was probably Poke'mon or Sailor Moon.

I'm in my freshman year of high school and although I have many girl friends I've never been able to act normal around boys, they make me feel so embaressed for some reason.

Chapter start: An unforseen meeting-
It was about 7 in the morning when I woke up, I was so excited I could hardly sleep the entire night so I just played my gameboy SP to keep me entertained for a while. I jumped out of bed and rushed to brush my hair and teeth. I quickly changed into a tank top and jeans while putting my loose gray jacket over it. I ran over to my backpack, grabbed all my supplies while shoving breakfast in at the same time. After gulping down some orange juice with the toast and eggs; I yelled a goodbye to my mom and ran out of the house. Locking the door behind me, I smiled as I skipped happily to my best friends house. Her name was Alla which meant 'unknown' in Russian. She had short brown hair with wild bangs a bit like Karin from Naruto Shippuden, her personality however was a bit like Sakura's. She was headstrong and wasn't afraid of anything, well-- except boys who hit on her, in which case she would freak out and run away.

I was gleaming like a ray of sun as I banged my fist on her front door, "ALLA!!!! It's me!" I was quickly answered by a girl with messy brown hair who apparently had just woken up, "What time is it?" she asked me. I narrowed my eyebrows and said, "Time for you to wake up!" and walked into her house. She closed the door and said, "Just give me five minutes k?" I sighed like a mother dissapointed in her sons pigsty of a room, as she slumped back to her bathroom to get ready. I wasn't worried about her parents getting mad since she only lived with her dad who was always at work. Her parents had got a divorce quite some time ago. After watching Naruto for a few brief moments on Cartoon Network she ran out and said, "CHYEAHHH!!! I'm ready to go!" I laughed as I saw her wearing her Sakura time-skip headband and a short-sleeved red shirt with a pair of white shorts. Not too short though. I nodded and turned the tv off. She grabbed the keys and locked the door behind herself as we both walked linked arm-in-arm, like we always walked.

I was sad when we had to part for our first class and hesistatingly let her go while whispering, "Don't forget me..." She grinned and punched me on the shoulder, "What're you talking about stupid? It's only the first day of school, just imagine everyone naked!" As people passed by I blushed and covered my face. "Sorry, sorry!" she said and then looked at the bell, "Well it's time for class to start soon so I gotta' go k? Don't get lost!" I let my head sink in desperation and waved, "Yeah..."

As I was finally able to find my first class with the directions of many teachers, I walked in and froze seeing there was already a full room! I looked around and then saw some kid walk out while saying, "Yeah, see you later dude!" apparently he was in no rush to get to his first class. I gulped as I looked over to where he had been sitting. It was a window seat in the very corner so I only had two people to interact with. The one in front of me was a girl with glasses and a yellow top screaming, "EAT ME" well, I have a thing for bananas. Anyways, the other person was a boy...with long spiked out hair and dark brown eyes, almost black. I immediately blushed and saw the teacher staring at me. I got flustered and put my hands in my pockets like I usually did and made my way to the seat.

The teacher cleared her throat and said, "Alright class, today is your first day of school--" I rubbed my temples and tuned her out after a while. I usually would slap myself and call that rude but today was an exception. Today I wasn't really in the mood for the 'First day of school, do your best' lecture. All I needed to know was when we get our lockers and when is lunch. I sighed and put my head on my desk which luckily no one noticed me being all secluded in the corner and all, other than, of coarse, my neighbor. He looked at me and laughed, "Heh. Tired already?" I opened my eyes and peered over my arm while saying, "Uhh-yeah. I'm just...not in the mood for lectures." He nodded and then looked forward. I blushed and immediately thought, "He's talking to me...God he's so hot. I mean-- shut up you pervert, shut up!" I noticed that he was wearing loose knee-length shorts which usually meant, 'Loser.' but he made it look good.

He also had a dark blue shirt on and I blushed, "Awmigawd...He's Sasuke! SOULMATES!!!" I always thought that when I saw a cute boy, well...a cute boy who looked like Sasuke. I strongly supported SasuxHina and when I thought of this situation I blushed even more. He glanced over at me and luckily for my long hair, didn't notice. He leaned on his hands, with his fingers entertwined with one another. I was practically wanting to profess my unbound love for him, although I had just met him.

I pulled out my sketchbook from my messenger bag, AKA backpack. I flipped through it glancing at all the SasuxHina and Naruto related crap I drew in there and laughed a bit. Then I flipped to the last page where I had just recently finished drawing a picture of Hinata from Naruto Shippuden in a big flowing dress with ribbons in her hair and a bun to hold it up. I smiled at it and thought, "Looks like something from a fairy-tale." I grabbed my pencil and started to shade it in.

My neighbor looked over my shoulder and saw it, "Whoa, is that Hinata?" I blushed and looked over at him startled, "Y-yeah." I never usually stuttered unless I was trying to read a big word and gulped. He stared at my drawing wide-eyed and said, "That's amazing..." I turned a slight crimson red and said, "R-really?...Thanks." and sat back in my chair while trying to avoid eye contact. He put his hand on the edge of my desk and turned the sketchbook towards himself. Then he looked up at me and asked, "Can I see this?" I nodded and then he grabbed it ever-so-gently and began to flip through it.

His eyes stopped on the first page and he looked over at me, "SasuxHina?" I nodded and said, "Uh-- I like it. I think it's interesting." He put a hand on his chin and rubbed it, "That pairings never actually occured to me before, and I've seen Sasuke paired with everyone..." I stared at him and asked slightly surprised, "Really? It's my favorite pairing, I used to like KibaxHina before but now I like SasuxHina and NaruxSaku."

He then continued looking though it and stopped at one of the 'crackfics' as I liked to call them and asked, "Which way do you read it?" I smiled and pointed, "Just left-to-right then down. You know, the 'normal' way." He laughed and said, "Of course." Then after he finished he looked me in the eyes and extended his hand, "I'm David, by the way." I blushed and gently shook it, "Ai." He raised an eyebrow and asked, "Ai, as in...'Love' in Japanese?" I nodded embaressed and said, "Yeah." while noticing how surprisingly smooth his hands were. Sasuke--er- David seemed to be looking me over when he commented, "You remind me alot of Hinata, Ai." I put my hands in my pockets and looked at my desk then back at him, "Really?" He nodded and I accidently let out a giggle, "You remind me of Sasuke-kun." I said accidently adding the 'kun' like many of his fangurls did.

All of a sudden we were interrupted by the ringing of the bell, I and him were both dissapointed and he stood up while handing me back my sketchbook, "Here."I nodded a thanks and he left while calling out, "Bye Hinata!" without actually realizing it. I put the book back into my messanger bag and blushed, "Sayonara...Sasuke-kun." and smiled to myself. Then I looked onto my schedule and said, "Huh. I have PE next."

blaugh I just have to say, you have a knack for this. Kind of jumbled and AU isn't my style, but I still liked it.
