 Ness was leaning against a large overflowing peppermint tree that lined the grape soda river. She was out enjoying a lovely summer day. She was chewing bubble gum and trying to blow the largest of bubbles that she could. When they didn't go quite right, she'd crack the gum real loud and suck it in to try again. She flipped her tail here and there, and she dangled her feet into the water to feel it's cooling sensation.

 The sweet smell of peppermint had lulled him to sleep a while ago. His ear fins lay flat against his neck and his tail curled tightly around the tree. His qiet snores were carried away by the breeze which rustled his peppermint tree. All of a sudden, a loud cracking pop woke him with a start. He lost his balance and fell right on top of a white female that had been sitting under his tree. "You are an idiot," his other self groaned from inside of him. Anala moaned in pain from his fall as he rolled off of the female he had smooshed.

If Ness hadn't been growing accustomed to this sort of thing over hte summer, she might have felt extremely put out by it. However, luck was on Anala's side. Ness was somewhat a tough girl. She tried to push his foot out of her face. "Oh boy... where did you come from? I don't mind if numas wanna get up close and all touchy feely with me.. but um... there is the issue of being petted first... and not to mention um... well... this sure is awkward..." Her tail weakly flicked about as her body gathered strength to try to push him off of her.
