Samus landed with a loud thump onto the ground very very very annoyed. so far this new land was irritating him. having met a mare that truely riled his anger by stargn at him oddly then geting mad at a simple question. giving a loud snot, he had atlest met a interesting flutter who atlest didnt freak out on him. now Yuuri he was a interesting stallion who he found very odd. gruntign and giving a toss of his mane, he had a shaggy look about him though it was hardly noticed due to his black coat. beign in the clearing near his cave that he claimed, any who decided to come here might just get a unfriendly welcome due to him being territoral.

It was too bad the stallion in the area was territorial, not that she particularly cared. So far, her adulthood was proving to be more trouble than it was worth. She almost wished she was a filly again. Almost. Scowling at the way life had taken a turn on her, she stepped past the territorial line, not realizing this area was claimed.
Unfortunately, Blackfire not paying attention wasn't good. She grew up learning about territories and what could happen to invades or intruders... but that was why she had her father's quick reflexes and his knowledge, but currently, that 'knowledge' was stuffed somewhere in the back of her mind.

Samus' ears flicked about as his eyes searched about the area. he truely hated being sneeked up on and Yuuri had done that which he had been snappy with his at first due to it. ears flicking back, he thought he heard someone come into his area. green eyes narrowed, wondering who would come around this area. would be hard for any grounded soquili not use to the mountains to get here and thats why he had choosen here since no one would come. pawign the ground with his hoof that had a spiked collor wraped on the leg, he waited.

Having flown for a long time before she had found this area as a perfect landing spot, she was currently thinking about how she would find something to eat and something to drink before she would head back home. She didn't mind wandering around discovering or meeting new things or Soquili, but she also liked to be alone--a trait she had picked up from her oh so talkitive father--as she wandered.
Finally getting away from her thoughts, she realized that she was in the mountains. Mountains reminded her of the arrogant Shimshek, another Wind female she had met, but not seen, in a long, long time. Apparently Shimshek was off with some unicorn who had captured her interest. Shaking her head with ludicrousness of it all, she continued forward, once again forgetting to check her surroundings.

Samus finaly caught sight of a mare of black and blue. he stompped a hoof in irritation that anyone managed to find this area. snorting, he stalked forward and towards her while calling out. " who the hell are you?" ruffling his wings as he contiuned towards her, he didn't wait for a responce as he finaly stopped not far from her.

Her head shot up like a cannonball as she turned to face whoever it was that had called out to her. Blue eyes narrowing dangerously at the way she had been treated for however short the amount of time was, she spotted a black wind stallion stalking towards her. He was obviously very irate and looked extremely annoyed, but she wouldn't answer him until he had shown her some better hospitality. "Who are you to ask for my name?" she retorted, not moving an inch. She ruffled her own wings, not liking how her day was heading. It was going from bad to worse, and she bet she would hit rock bottom sooner than she could blink before this next confrontation ended.

Samus gave a last ruffle of his wings and suddenly gave a cheeky grin at her. " who am i to ask your name? I Samus will ask your name, because your in my territory and your a stranger." he then took a step forward towards her, geting closer. " and i do hate strangers wandering in my territory." the grin was strange for him to have when he was clearly irritaded that some wind mare decided to come waltzing into his territory.

The words fell from her mouth far too easily, though Samus' smile made a small appear on hers, despite how he stepped closer. "Jerkface," she said, grinning. "I am Blackfire, and I'm sorry I intruded on your territory, but I wasn't paying attention, and if I'm a stranger, you're certainly one yourself," she commented, taking a step back. Her personal space had been invaded enough lately, she didn't need more of it. "If you hate strangers that much, then mark your territory better... or move," she retorted, her grin dropping from her face. Despite how she didn't have any appearances of her father on her, she did have small, hidden fangs that could rip apart flesh faster than an eye blink. She was a warrior's daughter, and she would hold up that reputation.

" how about YOU watch where the hell your going. it was not hard to notice you where not paying attention. so dont blame me that you didnt notice this is my territory." Samus' grin was no longer there but replace with a almost smug look. " well the only way to change the fact i'm a stranger to you would be you askign my name and me giving it." standing stil, he stared at her with his green eyes that looked perching against his black coat.

"Of course I have to blame you," Blackfire reasoned. "I don't know who the owner of the territory is, so therefore it's not my fault I didn't realize this was a territory, and therefore, this area seemed quite free to me," she emphasized. "You already gave me your name, true," she relunctantly agreed. "Fine, you're not a stranger, Samus," she acknowledged, but still didn't give away her own name. She didn't see the point if he didn't seem to really care, and she didn't particularly mind if he called her 'mare', or 'you', or whatever else he came up with. She was going to enjoy herself in this place (she had come to the mountainous area to explore) and she didn't need a rogue stallion nagging at her back. It figured she'd run into trouble, though.

too bad just moments earlyer she gave her name to him after he slipped in his own just earlyer when giving a smart a** remark. " earlyer you admited to not paying attention so if you had you would have saw me and noticed that i made it clear its my area." suddenly he chuckled and walked around her. " i would prefure just Samus. as i said earlyer giving each other names means we are no longer strangers."

Blackfire couldn't help but glower at this stallion. What the hell was wrong with this guy? At any rate, she was sure as hell not gonna let him walk all over her--so to speak. "Samus, then," she prompted, but finally gave in because if he was going to proceed to annoy her then she might as well offer up her name. "Blackfire," she said, flatly, eyes cold and narrowed into a death glare. "As such, the blame does not fall to me if I intruded, because I wasn't paying attention. I came here to explore the mountains, not to be harassed by some territorial idiot." She decided to move on at that point, moving herself so that she was close to where the line between not Samus' territory and free land. "So, now we are not strangers, but that still doesn't give you leave to act like a predator around me."

Samus suddenly laughed and grinned at her like he was a goof ball or insane. " this argument is only going in circles and i got better things to do than argue with some mare." he then winked at her, still grinning. " sorry but if i where acting liek some predator you woouldn't be standign here alive." spreadign his wings and bowign his head, he still didn't let his eyes leave her. " should i apologize for being oh so rude to you Blackfire?" stayign still, he waited for her responce with amusment showing in his eyes.

She thought Samus had gone mental. This stallion was crazy: one minute he was trying to intimidate her the next he was playful and... Samus reminded her of her sister, Hinode, who was very unpredictable, and Samus, it seemed was the same. Unpredictable. She cursed silently to herself for thinking about coming into this area not realizing she'd run into some unwanted company. She hadn't planned on encountering other Soquili when she came to this place. Swearing under her breath about stupid rogue stallions, Blackfire's warm, bright blue eyes became frozen, ice blue as she glowered at Samus. "If you've got better things to do than argue with some mare, then move on. I should probably get going myself, since standing here arguing with you isn't going to let me understand the layout of the land." She made a move towards the mountain. When Samus bowed and asked if he should apologize, she turned around, eyes glinting like steel. "Apologize? What you asked is worse than you probably meaning to 'apologize', you dolt. You were hardly rude, but that question alone tells me you're trying your best to be insulting. I won't stand for it." Blackfire turned around to start stalking off, hoping Samus wouldn't bother her any longer. She wasn't going to become some stallion's amusement play toy, so she was out of here. Blackfire really didn't have the patience to put up with idiots like Samus. At least, in her opinion she didn't.

Samus strightened himself up and closed his wings to his side. his expression was cold, but if one looked in his eyes they could see he was through. snorting a tossing his mane which caused the wolfs tooth that was tied to part fo his mane to smack against his neck. there was a urge to attack the idiot mare but he let her stalk off with out saying a word to her. better she left now, so he could be alone like he liked to be.
