With few places to turn in this ongoing battle between majestic races, Humans have learned of this forest, and many have turned it into a home. Small towns can be seen within this vast land of trees, as the Humans use this land to train and fend off unwanted pressure from other races.

Thunder and lighting raced through the skies above, mimicking the chaos that was unfolding on the grounds below. Nearly a dozen humans ran screaming, prolonging their envitable deaths by Nadroj and his animal army. With this number of humans, any carnivorous animals he commanded could feast for days before moving on to the next village. "Selfish humans...you feed off of the land and its animals but when we try to do the same you run away!"
One by one a wild cat or wolf sprung from the darkness and picked off a human. Nearly half of them managed to make it into the black nearly flooded river. They stumbled halfway through it before realizing that the water's thickness was more consistant to mud than actual water. Only when one of them submerged their heads did they see what they had unknowingly stumbled into. When she raised her head from the rivers surface every opening in face had become swarmed with leeches. Though she tried as hard as she could to scream, the number of leeches housed in her mouth and throat made it impossible. Moments later she collapsed beneath the water's surface. This time she didn't resurface.
The loud screams of those still standing in the river was overpowered by the feasting sounds of the animals feeding on their friends and family.
Those left alive had only two choices. Try to cross the river and hope that the leeches didn't drain them dry, or return to the land and be ravaged by the animals.
The amount of blood lost already had taken its toll on them as they began to stumble across the wide river. One by one they dropped like dying flies. Not one made it to the half way point before collapsing, not one recovered after falling beneath the river's surface.

Hikaru suddenly appeared out of the Earth Portal not far from the attacked village. He was instantly startled with the screaming. He could only wonder what was wrong before he took the initiative to fly over the village. He stared down in horror watching countless people being slaughtered.

This will end even if I have to forsake my right to be an angel!

Hikaru landed infront of the one who seemed to be responsible for the madness, his wings still expanded and summoned his bow and quiver out of thin air. His bow was as tall as he was, decorated in gold and silver. Quickly notching an arrow on his bow he slung the quiver over his back and pulled back on the bowstring, ready to release the arrow at any moment towards Nadroj.

"Stop this meaningless slaughter." Hikaru used telekinesis to reach into Nadroj's mind and relay his message. He hoped he wouldn't have to resort to violence. Maybe the mere presence of the angel would scare him off.

As the angel's words played through Nadroj's mind, a scream from the last living human echoed throughout the forest before a blanket of complete silence fell over the land. Though the angel aimed his bow at Nadroj he didn't flinch. The angels were possibly the worst of any of the races. Waring on the lands and then returning to the realm of light after the damage had already been done, masking their actions under the facade that they are trying to uphold the peace. Nadroj knew that he would eventually have to face an angel in combat. It almost suprised him that after hundreds of years he is only just facing one.
He didn't flinch at the angel's obvious threat, instead he stood his ground. "If you are going to attack...attack!" He shouted. This will be the first angel to fall by my hands but most likely not the last. I will test his own power to get an insight to what fighting methods other angels invoke. Maybe they will prove to be a more challenging prey then these humans.

Hikaru stood unyielding, and as emotionless as a rock. After a couple seconds of mental deliberation he closed his eyes.
So be it
The arrow shot towards Nadroj's forehead and with only a couple of meters between the two, it wouldn't take long to reach it's target. Without waiting to see if it hit Hikaru leaped up into the air and fired three more arrows at Nadroj's torso, all flying towards him with Hikaru's infamous accuracy.

Before the angel's arrow fully left his bow Nadroj could tell that his aim alone made him a deadly adversary. With the same reflexes of a cobra he used a single arm to catch the arrow. Nadroj's speed wasn't enough to catch the arrow before its tip touched his head. A small drop of blood, black as oil ran down his face. Before he had a chance to study the arrow the whistling sounds of three more arrows could be heard coming from over head. Without a seconds notice Nadroj veered his head towards the skies and released his brain busting screech. The sound was so intense that any air it touched shimmered. The approaching arrows were turned torn to bits by the screeching sound, but the shimmering wave didn't stop there. It grew wider as it travelled upwards towards the attacking angel. If he can't survive this....maybe angels aren't what I thought them to be.

Hikaru had only a split second to react to the scream, but it was just enough time to use his newly acquired sound element to block the sound by creating small sound barriers over his ears. Still, the sheer power of the scream gave him a couple of small cuts. Hikaru flew higher until the scream was just a small cry in the distance.

Looking down, he notched five arrows at the same time and aimed at Nodroj. Amazingly, he fired all five at the same time and using his favored wind element, guided them with presicion accuracy. One aimed for the forehead again, one aimed at the jugular vein, one aimed at his wind pipe, another aimed at his heart and another aimed at his right lung.

He closed his mouth and ceased his screeching after seeing that it could no longer reach him.Angels...or atleast this one could prove to be challenging prey The change in the winds current went unnoticed by Nadroj, but he did see the angel commence his next attack. With the current distance between the two the arrows would take a bit longer to make it to Nadroj. He didn't need half of that time to think of another way to test the angel. He ran into the dense forestry and fused himself into the nearest tree. When he exited the tree's other half he waited patiently to see if the angel would follow or turn tail. Whatever you decide to do...you die tonight angel...

The rather tired Mystic exited the Earth portal, only to witness a seemingly large battle between two warriors taking place in the distance. Time was as limited as could be, and seeing the Angel in combat was of no aid to his need. However, Mystic knew that strong ties must prevail before destruction. Although he did not personally know this specific winged being, it was common knowledge throughout the three realms that Angels and Elves had formed a strong alliance throughout the years. The Angel in the distance was as good as any ally for the moment.

Knowing he must come to aid, the Elf King ran as fast as his legs would allow. For the moment, his speed was unimpressive. Mystic was worn, easily down at less than a quarter power. If he had the energy to spare, he would have used one of his elements to arrive at the battleground within a matter of seconds. However, running would take at least five minutes, and the energy he did have needed to be saved for a potential fight. Mystic could only hope that the Demon would not gain a great upper hand in the time it would take to arrive at the scene.

Hikaru released the sound barriers around his ears and listened carefully to his surroundings. Soon, using a technique similar to sonar, he knew where Nadroj was. But something startled him... Another presence was approaching them, not very fast, but faster than a human could hope to run. Setting that knowledge aside for later, with a great flap of his wings he flew in the direction of Nadroj, quickly positioning himself downwind of him and about 90 yards from him. He notched an arrow and shot it at Nadroj's heart, and noticing that the previous arrows were to slow, he sped this arrow up considerably.

Nadroj stood patiently waiting for the angel to make a move. Both would result in his death, but each choice offered a different way of doing so. When he leaned up against the tree the leaf covered giant gifted him with information that could prove to throw a wrench into his plans. Apparently an elf was making his way through the forest, brushing past trees and shrubs along the way. He would arrive in a matter of minutes. He had hunted many humans at once before, but an angel and elf could prove to be more then he could bite off. The current situation almost made him boil over in anger and dissapointment. Like a good hunter he cleared his mind and tuned his senses. Maybe this could work to my advantage if... The angel dove down on the thick forestry below, firing another arrow. "Damn it!" He shouted. This arrow travelled faster than any other, in his current predicament he had no choice but to use his final ability. He lept from the cover of the forest as the arrow grazed his ear. Before he landed his body had completely changed shape. His body hair thickened and his jaw sprouted forward. When he landed his transformation into a wolf was complete. He ran into the crowd of feasting beast disguising his whereabouts once again. He commanded the animals to scatter.

He ran side by side through the dense forest before realizing something that he hadn't before. It was more than just arrows that this angel had in his arsenal. Not only had he limited the damage caused by his screech, but he was able to locate him amongst so many trees. An angel who can use the sound element The fact that he wasn't able to defend against his screech completely was proof enough that he was inexperienced at using it. Nadroj on the other hand had been using the element for a while. If he used sonar to find Nadroj, all he had to do was keep that sound from returning to its origin. Nadroj almost coiled over with laughter. I might just taste angel's blood after all. The elf was still a few minutes away, but in a battle like this seconds are all that it would take to change everything.
He reversed his transformation and broke away from the pack of wolves and other animals he was traveling with. He clung to a tree and fused himself to it. Will the prey take the bait?
He began to yell, manipulating his own sound waves as they left his mouth. The pitch of his voice steadliy grew more high pitched as he mimicked the sound of the many frightened children he had killed. "Please...NO get away from us demon!...No...please...help us!!" He almost laughed. Would the angel once again come to the rescue?

Hikaru could only watch as Nadroj escaped. He wouldn't be able to find him in the crowd of animals. Reaching out with his mind, he found Nadroj's mind, though he was unable to trace, and gave him a warning.
Next time I will be victorious.

Hikaru flew off, now in the direction the elf. Careful as not to startle him, he landed a couple of yards in front of him, not saying anything, just merely staring at him with his golden eyes, giving off a expression that plainly said, "what do you want".
