Sadie lay quietly beneath the willow that was on the edge of the meadow. It was one of the few times she had managed to escape her annoying friend, Taylor, and she was loving it. That mare's useless prattle was no where to be heard. Though she suspected that the young mare had ended up following Rhapsody around. That poor stallion. Oh well, better him than her!

Huron hummed softly to herself as she stepped daintily through the grass, careful to avoid any flowers she might come near. The ferret-colored female smiled every time she'd look down to find herself gazing at the pretty little meadow-flowers as she made her way back towards the forest. "Such pretty little flowers, aren't you? Blooming under the warm sun and cooling breeze. You must be so incredibly happy." She sighed cheerily and then stopped for a moment to nibble at a small patch of clover she'd come across.
The female flicked her braided tail and then tossed her mane a little and lifted her head back up, spotting a large willow tree that looked like it was creating a nice amount of shade. "Mmmm, it is rather hot though..." She trailed off, her soft voice quieter than normal, almost a mumble. "I think I'll go and take a bit of a rest." She mused to herself, speeding her pace slightly as she headed towards the shady patch.
Though as Huron approached the large, shade-giving tree, she spotted the shape of another Soquili already resting under it, a female, like herself. "Hello!" She crooned quietly as she moved closer, smiling cheerfully, to let the other know that she meant to do no harm, as she'd learned was important, as some Soquili were just as cautious as herself. Although, she was admittedly less cautious of females than males.
"It looks like this was indeed a good resting spot, though I can move along, if you'd rather be alone..." Huron spoke softly, gently, and laid her ears back slightly in a submissive manner. "I didn't see you here until just a moment ago, and it's only fair, because you were here first." She gave another little smile, and a soft snort of content.

Sadie looked up to see a naturally colored mare much like herself approaching. She noticed her gentle smile and smiled back. She seemed nice enough in jus tthe mannor she had addressed her in and she really didn't have a problem sharing the shade. It wasn't her tree anyway and atleast it wasn't Taylor coming over to her. "Your welcome to join me if you would like to. It isn't my tree so I can't say who can and cannot lay beneath it." she said with a smile.

Huron hesitated for a moment before flicking her braided tail and then flopping down in the shade next to the other mare. "Well, thank you. I wasn't sure if you'd want me moving along or not, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask." She smiled again, and then began her observation of the other with her icy blue eyes.
Naturally colored, not bright and flashy in a silly manner like some others she'd seen. A pretty red and beige combination. She looked like those big, fluffy dogs that she'd seen with the humans. And what looked like a collar around her neck. How adorable. Huron giggled slightly to herself and then lifted a brow delicately.
"You're very nice-looking. I like the way your markings are, on your face. Very pretty." She said, trying to seem nice, but not as though she were attempting to be flirty or anything of that sort.

Sadie studied the other naturally colored mare with her own crystal blue eyes. The dark markings around her eyes kind of reminded the huskey mare of a raccoon but she did not have the ring like markings on her tail. She did look like an animal she had seen before but just couldn't quite place what it was.
"Thank you! I like the markings around your eyes. Kinda makes them seem brighter and they look like the mask raccoons wear." she commented back politely. It was so long since she had met another mare that she could just talk to. Other than Settia, she had not met many other mares here.
